A dose of sun(flowers) on a grey, January day 🌻

Georgia’s fave were sunflowers, which worked beautifully with the delicate cosmos and dreamy dahlias also in her bouquet.

Two years in fact, since I showed my face on here 🫣

I’m Sam, the heart and hands of B&B.

Mama to Wilf and our slinky sausage dog, Wilson.
Music & dancing, fizz with my faves, fresh air, holidays, and more recently reformer Pilates give me life! ❤️

B&B is fuelled by a love of flowers and creating “oh my gosh, they’re beautiful” moments with them…

A busy eve of catch-up calls with my final weddings of the year 🧡

Seasonal appreciation…

A beaut day spent Spring Showcase yesterday. Some lovely convo’s with couples planning their special day, and also with new supplier pals!

There was lots of love for the spring meadow, so giving it a spot on the grid (pre tablecloth being ironed 🫠).

I’ll always be led by the season’s flowers and for good reason - look at those giant anemone about to pop and the perfectly ruffled ranunculus! 😍

Is Spring finally doing its thing? 🌱

Seem’s everything and everyone has woken up over the last week, after that looooonnnnng Winter slumber 🥱 - I’ve had loads of lovely catch-up’s with couple’s for this year, with a sprinkling of consultations for 2025 and I’m ready to get stuck in!

I can’t wait to have the studio door flung open and start flowering for this years weddings.

A couple of things…

1. I’ll be at the spring Fayre on the 28th April and if you’ve not yet booked a venue, I’d deffo recommend popping to see this one - it’s a beaut 😍 💒

Hope everyone had a lovely, long Easter weekend 🐣

Obvs I spent it mostly eating chocolate and Easter egg hunting with my babe, with a girls night out and a hangover thrown in! 💃🏻🍾

But before all of that, I had a beautiful day of getting creative with .photo

Here’s a sneaky peek of the least colourful part of the day… Celebrating my namesake, the Blackthorn blossom with some scented daffs thrown in!

Finally, the spring sunshine is teasing us and the long Easter weekend is near 🐣💛

Cheer up your front door with a living spring wreath, with muscari and mini daffodil bulbs that keep on flowering (and can be planted in pots or gardens to flower again next year), amongst other natural and sustainable ingredients.

I always encourage sharing pictures of outfits, fabric swatches and colour themes for your event with me.

There’s been a whole lot of wedmin going on over the past week!
Ive had some exciting enquiries in and 2024/2025 are set to be COLOURFUL 🎨

Got me thinking back to my most colourful wedding to date last June.

More is more was Laura & Mikes approach to colour, which you’d think was easy BUT there’s a fine line between it looking fresh and modern and full-on circus!

A good florist and stylist (especially when they’re the Queen of colour ) will work together to take your ideas and turn them into something better - trust the process.

Heading into sparkly season… ✨

The last few weeks have been MANIC! In a good way. Lots of Christmas wreathing and generally burning the candle 🕯️🥂
