Getting the tubers in the ground. This is my second year trying to grow dahlias. Last year had meager results. This year, the two things I am changing are: the soil and the place in the garden. Hopefully they will get better sun here.

Only one brave soul ordered my new Quirky Centerpiece for Valentine's Day. Each one is different so you never know what you are going to get.

*I* never know what you are going to get as a final design, but I do know that you will receive the absolute best quality flowers from ! My rep has keen eyes for me in the cooler. If I ordered something and it doesn't come in looking fresh, she will find the closest thing to it to keep my color palette and meet my need for flowers with long vase life. Can't thank you enough, Hayley!

Personal development today with the . I am already overwhelmed with thankfulness for the wealth of rich and trustworthy information offered. I was able to get a spot in the Landscape Design track. So much parrallel concepts in landscaping and music!

We got our bulbs in the ground! Thank God for a warm December day to finish off the garden just outside my bedroom window. I really think the anticipation of what will come in spring will help get me through the long winter.

We bought a gas-powered cultivator to churn up the ground, but we missed a spot where 5 of our frittilaria were planned. Tim helped get them in the ground since the rest of the bulbs had already been planted all around that area. Wouldn’t want to risk damaging them with the power tool.

Also praying our new Japanese maple survives the winter. 🙏🏽
