Back at the Merlion’s Roar! 🦁🇸🇬

A major throwback to 6 June 2024! I had the incredible opportunity to host the HPE Networking Instant On Launch at Pan Pacific Singapore. This was my second time hosting in Singapore, and the day was made even more memorable because it also marked the birthday of the most important man in my life. Lights for the Stroke Patients

I’ve witnessed the physical and emotional toll that stroke patients and their families endure. During the AmHope Rehab & Regenerative Centre launch, I was deeply moved by their CSR initiative, which I believe is worth sharing.

"The 90 days following a stroke are crucial for brain recovery, and engaging in rehabilitation during this period significantly boosts the chances of full recovery. Unfortunately, many stroke patients miss this critical window due to financial constraints, leading to lasting physical impairments. To address this, AmLife offers substantial financial aid to those in need. Patients who provide a hospital medical report within 90 days of their stroke can receive physiotherapy for just RM30 per session, compared to the market rate of RM150. This 80% financial relief also extends to all equipment and advanced treatments at the centre," shared Mr. Lew Mun Yee, President of AmLife, during the launch.

I almost felt like a real baker!👩🏻‍🍳🥐🍞🥖🫓 😄 I was beyond excited to meet Chef Chang, 张泰谦师傅—the bakery legend from Taiwan and 2nd Runner-Up at the 2012 Bakery World Cup (Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie)! 🏆 This unforgettable experience took place at The Real California Cheese Bakery Masterclass! As a massive bread and cheese lover (with zero baking experience!), I was definitely a newbie stepping into this. But for two amazing days, I got to be Chef Chang’s assistant, translating his techniques into English as he guided us through kneading, mixing, proofing, and scoring… By the end, I really did feel like a baker👩🏻‍🍳!
