Tips on beating the cold ⬇️ Taking your first look video in the winter can be SO beautiful, but sometimes being outside in a dress in the snow is not everyone’s favorite thing 🥶 here are a few tips on picking your winter first look location if you’re trying to avoid the snow! 1. Try picking somewhere that stays consistent no matter the weather. The obvious for this is somewhere indoors, but also the outside of buildings (like the one in this video) give a great consistent backdrop no matter what the weather is! 2. Find a lake! Although these will still probably be pretty cold, they stay much more consitent and way less snowy than the mountains! Plus the water makes photo and video look so dreamy 😍 3. We are super lucky in Utah to have places like Little Sahara or the Salt Flats that generally get a lot less snow than further up the mountain and are STUNNING! They do still get snow though, so definitely check the weather before deciding on these! If you are braving the mountain chill, make sure to be prepared! Bring warm shoes, have a coat you can quickly take on and off, and bring hand warmers! (I have some awesome rechargeable hand warmers that I’m obsessed with and have changed my life honestly lol message me for a link!)
