While we are sad to see an end to our tap journey, we can't wait to see who rolls with it next.

// April showers bring… summer celebrations? Ok I may not the best word smith out there, but shower season will soon be upon us! Whether it is a wedding shower, baby shower or just showering someone with love, we have some tips to make it epic!

1. Choose a personal, but achievable theme: narrow in on a few ideas that are special to the guest of honor and build a foundation from there.

2. The right guest list: don’t invite who you want or even who you think the guest of honor wants. They should approve everyone on the guest list.

3. Choose a great location: guests need to be wowed by the location! Locale doesn’t matter so much as the vibe you create.

4. Easy dress code: set some sort of standard for the occasion. Whether it is a certain color palette or to dress to a certain level of formality.

5. Personalized touches: it’s the little things that count and that will make the event stand out even more.

6. Dynamic beverages: drinks are a must! Connect your drink list to the event’s overarching location and theme. Another pro tips? Pay a mixologist or mobile bar (😉) to serve a signature drink or work a light bar.

7. A fun activity: if the even mention of “shower games” make you cringe, there are many alternatives out there. Hands on crafts, yard games, etc., will keep the partygoers entertained instead of rolling their eyes!

Ultimately, the function should be something that attendees (including the guest of honor) look forward to, rather than something that they dread (chances are, they've been to or have heard of plenty of boring and awkward celebratory showers showers).

// Ever wonder where your money goes when hiring a mobile bar? Well, today we are breaking it down for you.

As a client, we want you to know exactly what you are paying for when you hire us. It is not just as simple as buying the truck and getting it out there for our clients to enjoy.

Like many other businesses and other mobile bars, there was a very large upfront cost. Many mobile bars, like ours, needed to be custom built and fabricated. That means purchasing a truck or trailer and then putting funds into designing and construction. There was also specific licensing and permits that needed to be acquired in order for us to be able to operate.

Day to day costs range from advertising, bar stocking costs, staffing, travel costs and probably our biggest expense, INSURANCE!!!!! Many mobile bars carry various types of insurance including commercial liability and liquor liability insurance. For us, we also carry standard vehicle insurance as Gertie is legal to drive on the road.

Know that when you book a mobile bar service, we have carefully calculate our prices to account for all of our expenses, while still keeping our prices affordable! We want everyone to be able to experience the thrill of having a mobile bar at their next event.
