Wedding Update: With 150 people allowed at weddings at the moment (depending on the venue) , this could be the "new" normal for a while... The current wedding reception arrangement doesn't allow for guests to stand and mingle or to dance, meaning everyone needs to be seated.
Live music has always been an essential part of weddings, keeping guests entertained and getting guests onto the dance floor but with a COVID safe seated wedding, it's about choosing the right type of live music to keep your guests happy! You need a musician who's not too loud, so people can still have a chat at the tables. You need a musician with good range of songs to suit the diverse range of people/ages at weddings. And lastly, you need an experienced musician, who knows how weddings work.
I've been doing wedding singing for about 9 years now! I've got a huge repertoire of songs and work with some great local musicians so I can put together the perfect package to suit your wedding - solo, duo, trio, four-piece and even five-piece band.
Here's a sample set list of a typical 3 hour acoustic style low key wedding gig - I try to weave in and out of different genres, styles and era's of music as possible. Inbox me if you are planning a wedding at the moment OR If you know someone who's engaged feel free to share this with them.
