What weekend of Summer is suitable mindful Rds may have to be closed , and the Market maybe on a Sunday ?
Red Bull cannot sponser us , do you know of a sponser ?

It’s been a week since we did the parade , it was fun !!

Massive thank you to everyone who made the first Karty Kaper Parade such a success especially those who made a kart for the parade, marshalled and for everyone who came to spectate. The winner for Best Looking Kart chosen by the Community Council and presented by the Provost was Arowe for his Incredible Hulk Kart, second place was Alzheimer Scotland and third place was Team NBR. This Sunday look your wheels out . First it’s the Karts. Then the bikes , then the skaters and then the little wheelers . Take advantage of the roads bring closed to have fun in the sun . Bring a picnic for the finish at the signal tower . Starts 1pm from Kirk square no entry fee , there is a trophy for the winner and runner up prizes and goody bags for the kids .

Still time to get your mode of transport ready as long as you have wheels you can enter , no entry fee or age barriers . Route Rd closed From Kirk square to the Harbour judging for the cup and prizes is at the signal tower . Parade starts at 1pm on the 24th of July

I have the Fire brigade coming to the Karty parade but they are on duty . Anyone fancy hiring outfits similar to these . For their Karty ?? and the kids can see you at the end with the Fire engine for photos ???
