As a wife and now mother, photos mean even more to me than they ever had before. I've always loved photography and looking at photos, but now? These photos hold even more memories and capture time that I'll never be able to get back.
That sounds so sad, but it's really true! I'm a sucker for Timehop, so every morning I look at the app and see what photos or posts I've had over the years for that day. Now my Timehop is filled with two years of photos of my sweet boy.
I get misty eyed some mornings before I get out of bed because I get to see him in his newborn days then when he was a year old. As the years go on, more and more will be added, and it's such a reminder of the importance of being in the moment but also capturing those "moments" as they happen.
Be it a silly moment or a posed one, they are all important. They tell our life's stories.
I just love this photo of Kathleen + Michael for that reason. These two truly love one another and have such a unique relationship. I loved that we were able to capture that "look" they had for one another in the first few minutes of seeing each other on their wedding day.
It's a moment they'll never forget, and I'm honored to have captured it.
