‘It’s so much cheaper to do it myself’
Stopppp saying this!!
1. It’s actually NOT cheaper at all to do it yourself, you end up spending way more because you add all the little bits on without even thinking.

2. What on earth are you going to do with your 100 napkins, 10 centrepieces and 100 chair sashes after the big day?

3. Imagine waking up the day after, you’ve had one too many Proseccos (can’t relate) and you’ve got to clean the entire room including bundling everything back into boxes and storing it back in your attic/shed until 2032 🙃

Book a stylist!! It just makes sense!!

Top tip Tuesday ✨
We all love a good money saver 💵 so listen up 👂

ALWAYS ask what your venue provide in your package.
Most of the time, venues will have things such as easels or table linen that will be included in your package already!! So what’s the point in spending money hiring them from us when you can use theirs for freeeeee? 🤷🏼‍♀️
Let’s be honest, when someone mentions the word ‘wedding’ everyone starts adding the zeros on, so if this is one way you can save those extra pounds and get yourself a Prosecco or 10 on the day instead then, you’reeeeee welcomeeeeeee (best Maui from Moana voice)

BTS - this woman is not only my mum but my best friend and she’s also a massive part of this business!!

So after each event (which she often helps me with!!) she collects all the napkins, sashes and table linen and takes it all to hers to wash. Then I get a text the next day saying everything’s been ironed, boxed, labelled and ready to pick up 😂 she’s basically my organiser amongst so many other things!!

How does our consultation work?!

So, you’re in the deep hole of planning and you really want to know prices etc to suit your budget. So, how much will everything cost and what will the process look like?
On our highlights, we do have an idea of our pricing for individual items. But for packages, each quote is unique and priced differently based on what you’re looking for!
If you can let us know a rough guide for numbers, theme and what you incision your day to look like, we send you over a rough quote.
If you then decide to choose us to be a part of your special day, we arrange a phone call just to gain that little more information. Then the fun begins.
We start mood boarding and drafting ideas of your ideal day. We then meet up and go through exactly what you do (and don’t!!) want in your package.
Once we’ve got everything down to the final detail, we will stay in touch with you every step of the way to check final numbers, finishing touches etc.
Anything at all can be amended in your package, as long as it’s at least 6 weeks before the big day!
So if you’re just wanting a rough idea of how much it’s going to cost, get in touch and we will send you a quote. This is completely free and there is no pressure at all to choose us!

The days are going by so quickly now I have my little girl, but this is just insane 😳

Heyyyy July! A brand new month 😍 although, how on earth are we already half way through the year?! 🤯
Next month is super busy for us, so we are spending this month preparing (with a 5 week old baby in tow, yes we do need a full month to prepare 🤣)

What events have you got planned for this summer?
Not only do we have weddings to style this summer but we also have a mixture of themed parties, hen dos, birthdays and even a potential christening.
Even though summer is our busiest time, we absolutely love it and cannot wait to see how beautiful everything looks with the sun beating down! 🌞🌞

Very very soon we will be parents 🙊
I have 2 weeks left at work (my other FT job) then I am officially on maternity leave 🥳

Okay, we’ve decided our wedding date! Now what?!

So many brides are overwhelmed when planning a wedding. I genuinely remember when we booked ours thinking ‘does someone just get in touch with a to do list orrrrr?’
I had NO clue 🤯
Here’s some advice …
✨ Pinterest the hell out of what you want - save everything!
✨ Insta stalk! Don’t pretend you don’t 😉 find your venue and have a real look on their socials at what works and what doesn’t!
✨ download these amazing apps - hitched & bridebook (they are lifesavers!)
✨ enjoy the process!!! I spent far too long worrying about my Aunt Fanny’s opinion of my wedding cake that the whole process just went so fast 🙃

You don’t have to spend an absolute fortune to have a beautiful day! There, I said it!

But seriously, you truly just need the right details in the right places and it will transform a venue!

You may not think that your guests will notice the beautifully matching napkins or the personalised name places, or even the pretty flowers tucked into the chair sashes but trust me.. they notice! 👀

So if you don’t have a huge budget, think carefully about what finishing touches will give the biggest wow factor on your special day 🤍

How does booking us work?!

Choosing the right stylist for your wedding is one of the most important things in your life (definitely above getting a job/ house etc 😂)
Okay maybe not, but it’s extremely important you pick someone that is on your wavelength!!
So, when you first approach us we ask a few questions and try and figure out what vibe you’re going for: will it be blush and n**e tones or do you want to go sage and white?
🤍Once we’ve found out what you’re looking for, we start to put together a mood board (this will include all of our ideas that suit your theme!)
🤍 We then arrange a meeting to have a look through the mood board together and finalise what you do and don’t want on your special day.
🤍 Once you’re happy with things, we put together a final quote and send it over to you
🤍 A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking and then the rest can be paid whenever suits you (your final balance is due 6 weeks before your wedding day)
🤍 The final step is leave EVERYTHING to us! Of course if you want to add anything on or amend things, that’s easily done!
🤍 From this point on, the only worry you will have is which shoes will match your dress 😍
