I am sorry for not posting for a while. Though happily I have a new idea for making personalized items and first thing that I am trying to figure out, if I am going to try to get on my website or if I will use Etsy for my items with customisation is going to be luggage tags. Here is an example of one that I made for my suitcase. I will take a better quality photo later and update the post with it then.

I think I just set up a coupon code for a 20% off discount on my website. Though I could not get the code to come out cute like coupon codes usually so it's more of a random assortment of numbers and letters but I'm intrigued to see if it works. One of my new friends and a fellow vendor Romula was wonderful, and helped me by modeling a skirt that I made, and needing to get photographed! The exterior fabric of the skirt is 100% silk and the lining is 100% cotton. As a bonus, it is hand washable with shampoo. it will be available on my website soon and can fit between a size 4 and size 8. Plus I have a second skirt just like it that is waiting for a waist measurement and deposit.

My mom Ellen and I are taking a quick break at Starbucks roughly halfway to the site for The Festival of Legends! Though we are most likely to take a few minutes to unload all luggage at the hotel as the luggage is on top of my booth stuff.

I just finished a fan holster out of leftover dupioni silk that I use for making my wall hangings and I’m very excited to have some of these available at Festival of Legends!

I don’t have the photos ready to post these on my website, but I’m working on some new glow in the dark fabric flowers hair barrettes and I have the first one ready to show off. Soon, I will have them in at least two sizes and with a variety of different fabrics. I am also thinking about adding some rhinestones but I’m undecided on where do I should.

I am incredibly excited to say that while I took a nap after getting back from vending today James (my husband) did some research on what was wrong with my website and Facebook store. So after he woke me up we made the changes and now I am finally able to have online sales on both! Though it is better to order from my website https://crimsonmooncostumesembroidery.com, because there the customer pays precise postage (and can choose the shipping speed) instead of the postage estimate I had to choose for Facebook.

Well since I made the site, I have not been happy with my website that I made using Square. So I’m spending at least part of today redesigning my website on Squarespace and I’m hopeful that I will like it a lot better and it will better represents my business. I will also spend some time today loading photos onto my Instagram page and making sure that it’s linked to this page here.

I decided to do something different with one Zodiac of the designs are used today. First I just wanted to invoid another one since we just sent a Leo a couple days ago and it happens to be my sign. Then I decided to replace one of the purple threads I normally use with a purple metallic thread to see what I thought of that. Then I had the idea to use the glow-in-the-dark thread for the lions face and part of his mane, but since I didn’t used that same thread for all of the stores I’m not sure what I think of it. 

That is where you come in I would like you to take a look at the four photos below and let me know which do you like the best. The first two are the first Leo astrology sign I did in the series with just the stars and the symbol in glow in the dark thread, first with full light and the second in the dark. Now unfortunately I did not use the correct camera for the glow-in-the-dark photo for this one because my iPhone 13 pro camera caught some of the non-glow in the dark thread as well. Then the second set of photos is the Leo with the new threads and the corresponding glow in the dark photo. Oh and the new one is just off of the embroidery machine and not mounted yet that will be done shortly. 

Please let me know what you think and the new one will be up for sale later today.
