Hello! We are Anthony & Sofia cousins by blood and friends by choice! The Kitchen! Both cousins reconnected in 2019 when Sofia moved back to Western Mass.

While we both were raised apart in different countries, Anthony here in Western Massachusetts & Sofia in Benedita, Portugal we grew up in similar playgrounds. Growing up Anthony could be found in either his mother’s or Vovo’s(grandmother’s) kitchens. Usually hovering on a stool by a simmering pot or with a faca(knife) in his hand learning how important the prep before making a meal was. Anthony ha

s the next best thing to professional culinary training: years of watching and learning how to cook from the women that raised him. His love for food and larger than life personality can be found in every dish and family function! Sofia started cooking as a teenager in her home cozinha(kitchen) in Portugal where she quickly learned she had a passion & talent for it. Some of her best meals would either use every panela(pot) in the kitchen or where one pot dishes. No matter what few ingredients or seasonings she started with, these experiments turned into culinary works of art! This interest led her down the road to obtain degrees in events management and culinary arts! While it has been years since she has worked in a professional setting, her love for the kitchen has never waned.
