Come and join us at The Lost and Found, in the heart of Knutsford for great company with likeminded women, delicious food, coffee and most importantly laughter, lots of laughter 👋🏼😎🌟

We will be on hand to hold and entertain the babies while you chat, eat and enjoy your HOT coffee ♥️☕️

Different post than my usual. It has taken me the length of Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week 2023, 5 photos and many rewrites to put this together 😊

This level of vulnerability is hard for me but I host TMC events for a reason, and being a real mum is one of them ♥️

Those who know me well know that I struggled postnatally with anxiety and isolation for a number of environmental factors. What very few know is that I struggled with pre and post natal anxiety and depression, which was undiagnosed until I took myself to therapy. I was 2 and half years postpartum and the therapist confirmed for me what I had been through.

This isn’t a negative post, I’m here, I’m healthy, I’m in a great place with a beautiful child and a wonderful life. But the struggle was real, very real and is one of the massive driving forces behind my TMC life. If I can reduce the level of isolation, loneliness and over thinking for even one mum, for just a couple of hours in the month, then absolutely everything is worth it 😊

This is the photo I felt most comfortable posting, the others are still way too raw. Even in this picture though I can see it clearly, my eyes were glazed and dark. I don’t look like me. We were on our first family holiday, and I hated, but loved every minute. I loved my beautiful little family, I was grateful that our lives gave us the opportunity to enjoy a week of my husbands paternity away from home without washing or cleaning, cooking or routine. But inside I was a mess, I cried a LOT and I feared everything!

Mental health isn’t one size fits all, there isn’t one universal answer and it manisfests itself in so many ways.

One thing is for sure though, you are 100% not alone. When you can, share. With anyone, everyone, a piece of paper, a voice note, anything. Reach out 🌟

There are so many different levels of mental health and all are completely valid, try not to compare your experience. It doesn’t have to be extreme to need support ♥️

You are special, you are important and ffs you’re a bloody woman, you’re superhuman! 🤩✌️

5 years ago at this time, I was eating McDonald’s outside the diabetes ward waiting for contractions, any contractions 🤣🤣🤣 we walked and walked back and forth from McDonald’s for food and then dessert 🤣🤣🤣 a whole 20 hours more before my little 💗 would make an appearance!! ♥️🌟✌️

I had a bag full of beautiful items, a shirt for birthing in, scented oils, bath products and I basically ended up in the t shirt I’d been wearing for 2 days as nothing would work with the drip 🤣🤣🤣 all the best plans! 😎✌️

Yesterday evening some mums and I got to share a beautiful sunny evening of reformer Pilates with the gorgeous at the new knutsford studio 🤩🌟

A little bit about Georgia

‘My love of Pilates comes from a need to feel my best and nourish from within. I have always loved the challenge that Pilates has to offer even after years of practicing!

My biggest goal is to share my love with others by creating a environment where everyone feels welcome and embraced.
I have been practicing Pilates for over 5 years and look the leap to train to be a teacher in mat discipline in 2022 and I am working towards being reformer qualified.
I really make sure to keep all sessions inspiring and new with weekly plans to target the whole body, to challenge, to learn and to mobilise. I always say there’s no strength like Pilates strength!’

It was a great class, we all felt like we worked different parts of our bodies (that we didn’t even know existed) 🤣. Guided expertly by Georgia, I felt supported and pushed in equal measure 🤩

Saturday was so much fun! 🥂🤩♥️

For those of you who don’t already know, we have launched TMC knutsford Saturdays at the most fabulous venue in alderley edge 🌟

So many of our mums are returning to work and miss out on mid week events, why should our fabulous community end, just because we return to work? 🥰

The atmosphere was gorgeous, the food and drinks were fabulous and the company was amazing! 🥰

Happy Monday Clubbers ♥️💗

I hope you all had the most wonderful weekend 🌟 we have been struck down with scarlet fever in our house so it’s a day of rest for us whilst the antibiotics kick in ✌️

For all of you who don’t know, I’m alex, TMC host for Cheshire East as 😍 mum to my little girl and wife to Andy 🥰

I have recently returned to work full time after an extended maternity period 💗 I absolutely love hosting our events, seeing mums come together in a comfortable environment and build connections whilst enjoying great food and drinks ♥️

Our events are getting more and more popular and our knutsford events are now sold out until July 🥂🤩 it amazes me every time I say that 😊

We have a free eat Saturday event in alderley edge on 25th March. Feel free to come alone, with little ones or with bigger children, we have the venue to ourselves and I’ve organised this event as so many of you have busy lives through the week, be that through work or just general life! 😊

To all my beautiful pregnant mums 💗 the truly wonderful .syrena_yoga is offering 6 of you a chance to experience her pre natal yoga for free ♥️

‘Hi, I’m Rachael and I am excited to share my pregnancy yoga offering with you. In 2021, I became a mother to my beautiful son Leo Wolfe. During my pregnancy, my physical needs from yoga shifted and I loved surrendering to gentle, more nurturing movements that indulged my changing body and allowed me to feel strong and flexible without over-exerting myself. The breathing techniques helped me to manage my pregnancy-related anxieties and were pivotal during labour, and the moments it provided to bond with my unborn baby were truly special. It is now my passion to share this beautiful practice with other expectant mothers during what can be an unfamiliar and nerve-wracking time but also the most magical one in their lives.

The Yoga:

MOVE – expect gentle, mindful movements that nourish your body but also strengthen and ground. Essential pelvic floor work is also interwoven into the sequence.

BREATHE – each class will begin with a specific breathing technique that will help you to stay calm and present in both pregnancy and during labour.

BOND – enjoy special moments to bond with your unborn baby, especially during your extended guided rest at the end of practice. This is also an opportunity to meet and connect with other like-minded mothers in a warm and beautiful space with views of the mere.

There is room for 6 so please register your interest soon to avoid missing out.

The classes are only suitable for the second and third trimester and you must have the go ahead to exercise by the relevant medical professional overseeing your pregnancy. If you have any specific ailments and are unsure on whether the class is suitable, please feel free to let me know.’
