Hello👋 … it’s been a while since I posted here and A LOT has happened! So I wanted to give you an update.

Sooooo….

In the last few years, I’ve gained a unit space in Eynsford, brought a massive van that feels like I’m driving a bus when I’m in it! Built a wedding business, found a partner who happens to be a photographer 😆💪 - (a match made in floral heaven, who’s learned to love flowers as much as me 🤣) and I’m a proud Mama to Ted dog - the Golden Retriever!

I’ve also opened an online shop, which has lots of lovely Christmas bits to buy, from Christmas wreaths, ceramic planted bowls and bespoke Christmas installations. In the next few weeks I’ll be adding festive bouquets and table arrangements to see you through December.

🌈 FAREWELLS🌈

Yesterday I found myself at F A Albin & Sons, Mottingham branch dressing June’s casket with amongst other pieces, a flower garland. This was a first for me and a total privilege to be able to do this for her family. She was a much loved Mum, Sister, Wife and Nana and family from across the seas had made and sent wooden hearts with special messages of love for her that I attached to the garland and I thought how lovely they looked and what a beautiful idea it was !

🌸 MY FIRST LOCAL EVENT 🌸

Having spent 25 years in the floristry world I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in some pretty serious events in that time but today was very special ! - I got to create flowers for a 21st birthday garden party. Since the world turned 🙃 I’ve had to change and adapt the way I work and to be able to work locally in my community, with locally grown produce is so special.

🧚‍♀️ Foxgloves or Digitalis 🧚‍♀️

Aren’t they the most beautiful looking flower ?! With their architectural stems and bell like flower heads, you could almost imagine fairies making their homes in there !

You’ll find these beautiful plants in many different colours, growing wild in woodlands or cultivated in gardens across the UK but for all their beauty, did you know they are poisonous if ingested ! For two hundred years substances in the plant have been used to treat heart conditions and are still used to this day. Nature is AMAZING but be mindful to wash those hands after handing them .....just in case 🙌
