So marion + madge has gotten a slower start than I had liked to, but here we are! Things have been put on hold a bit as my husband and I began a home hunt in this crazy market. On top of that my full time gig has been very busy as well! I’m realizing the craziness of starting a business on top of having a regular full time job. It is not easy but it’s what I’m passionate about. Excited to get crafting and conjure up some pretty things 🌻

𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕡 𝕠𝕗 𝕗𝕒𝕚𝕥𝕙… 
 
I’ve always loved creating things from the time I was little. I attempted starting a craft business years ago, but it never went anywhere. Throughout the wedding planning process, I realized I couldn’t find the things that fit my aesthetic and the style I intended to have or if I did find them they were very expensive. I decided if I couldn’t find those items or afford them I would create them myself. It was then that I fell in love w/ wedding decor and the whole process. Transforming a space or adding items to give your guests a certain vibe or feel was so much fun! I’ve contemplated and brainstormed starting this business for months. I’ve second-guessed myself, told myself this market was too saturated, and told myself it would be a waste of time. Well, that negative mindset can kick rocks. I loved creating pieces for my own wedding and I have a strong feeling creating them for others will be just as (or more) rewarding.
