Hello. There have been some questions about the current situation with the building. Last November we were contacted by the State of Indiana and were told to stop construction on the building. We have been working with the State to make all the necessary corrections so we can move forward. We are also working with an architectural firm to help us get the correct drawings and State permits so we can move forward. With this process it takes time and we have been working really hard to move this along so we can get started as soon as possible. We have been in contact with the RDC giving them updates as needed. One last thing is we are sending someone out to clean the windows on the front of the building. Any questions or concerns please let us know. Thanks

“The red brick structure at the northwest corner of Main and Jefferson began in 1900 as Golden Rule Lodge No. 16, replacing the previous Masonic Lodge which was destroyed by fire the year before.

Today, 122 years later, entrepreneur Jonathan Jones is rapidly transforming the 3-story Knightstown landmark into the wedding venue and event center he envisions.”

Thank you to James Thurston, Journalist from The Courier-Times for featuring us. We are excited to bring this building back to life.

Does anyone know who this car belongs to that's parked on our lot West of the building? It is one that got tagged yesterday and we want to try and find the owner so they don't get charged a towing fee. Thanks

Unfortunately with the recent events today and insurance reasons we will NO longer be able to provide OVERNIGHT parking on our lot just West of our building. A few weeks ago I went around and introduced myself to the local businesses and asked if we could leave the first 2 spaces on our lot open so we could have our dumpsters dropped off and picked up when they are full. One of the businesses that I talked to had been storing their delivery car on the lot and after speaking with them and having them move it once before they proceeded to park the same car 4ft in front of our dumpster. We were charged an extra $225 this morning because the dumpster company was unable to remove the full dumpster and take it with them. We will be posting signs this weekend prohibiting overnight parking on our lot. During regular business hours 8am to 5pm business owners only that I have personally spoken with and their customers can use the existing parking lot just like they have been. I hope everyone can understand this lot is to be used for our business and it is not a storage facility for cars, trucks, and trailers with expired tags. Thank you for your cooperation.

Good evening. We wanted to say thank you for all the comments and interest posted today. A few people were asking for some pictures of the upstairs. We were there today for a meeting and before we left I took a few pictures of the 2nd floor. It was getting dark and this was really all I could get as we do not have power turned on to the building yet. We will be rewiring everything so we are in the process of getting some temporary power. The 2nd and 3rd floor are in pretty bad shape but after we complete the build on the first floor we are going to focus our efforts upstairs.

Welcome to the Old Masonic Lodge Building page. We have been working with the RDC for the past 2 months to acquire ownership of the building. Last Wednesday November 9th we closed on the building. We started work on the inside this past Friday the 11th and got the first floor opened up like it should be. Below are some before and after pictures of the progress so far. We are concentrating our efforts on the first floor and the exterior, weather permitting. We are going to open an upscale wedding venue and event center. We are hoping to work with other business owners in the area to bring additional business to the community. We will provide more information and updates as work continues. We are going to work very hard to bring this beautiful building back to its historic glory. We thank you for your kind words and support from all the individuals we have met so far. For now we are working on the weekends and will be there periodically through the week so if you see us there please feel free to stop by and say hello, if you like. A special thanks to Roger Hammer and the RDC for all their guidance and support. Thank you.
