January felt like the longest month of my life. Wedding season is upon us and I’m ready to create.

Side note this is was my first styled shoot and I’m still so proud of it two years later.

Christmas came early when Abby & Brian’s gallery hit my inbox.

We couldn’t have dreamt up better weather for this waterfront wedding in late October.

Abby and I crafted this design for months, by the end it felt like we were family. Several edits later and a lot of trust in me I’d say we nailed it.

The star of the show being this 8 foot chandelier over the dance floor and the draping tent entrance.

I’m a sucker for a good flat lay. If you want florals for your flat lay make sure that’s something you discuss with your florist ahead of time. Better that we choose the best blooms and keep them pristine so your photographer isn’t getting wilted leftovers.

We wanted to honor this milestone so we had ourselves an evening. We got fancy, ate cake, drank champagne and vowed to continue to choose each other.

I’ll keep it short and sweet. This year was one of exponential growth. I’m a goal setter and a compulsive planner and sometimes my own worst enemy. But right now in this moment I am proud. Paired with some vintage rentals from @thepinkcellar we were able to transform this black slate to the sweetest floral themed birthday celebration for a sweet little Camille. Can you believe this mantle was our rain plan? It may be better than our original. The torrential down pour made for a challenge, but we got her done. It’s important to plan ahead of time for different scenarios. Talk to your vendors about this and make sure you have a solid rain plan. Let’s talk installation 🫶🏻 Probably my favorite thing to do. This install was created with chicken wire so it could easily hang without too much weight, and water tubes to ensure the life of the florals.
