The bride requested a red rose in the middle of her bouquet to represent her grandmother who sadly couldn’t be there to celebrate her special day. These requests always warm our hearts🥰 It’s an honor adding sentimental touches to make someone’s day that much more meaningful to them ✨

We welcomed in the 2023 wedding season this weekend by creating these special arbor arrangements for a lovely young couple. It was pleasing to hear that the rain did not dampen their sprits. It's been said, rain on your wedding day brings good luck! Congratulations to Quinn and Katie Warren. May that good luck follow you at every turn! 🥂

Flower Cart Friday!!
We’ve got flowers on wheels this season!
🏚️🛠️🏠
Last spring I had a vision with my fathers old logging lunch cart. He mentioned he was never going to use it again (after 48 years of use), and it broke my heart a little because I’m a sentimental fool. My father, grandfather and uncles used this cart for a place to warm up and have their lunches during the cold winter months while they worked in the woods. This cart served them well so I wanted to keep the ol’ girl alive.
We gave her a new life🌸
Now this cart will be enjoying warmer days, filled with flowers grown by my mother and shared with the community!

We’ll be adding a few finishing touches in the coming weeks to make it roadside ready!!! To start, the flower cart will be located across from Tri-Pond convenience store in Smithfield. ✨The goal is to grow mobility to outside events and rental opportunities!✨

A HUGE thank you to my four rocks (mom, husband, father and brother) for believing in the idea and letting me “roll with it”- quite literally😜. Lots of sweat equity poured into this baby💪🏽

Since January we’ve been heavy into seed starting and planning for several upcoming events. Seeds are progressing beautifully! Looking forward to warmer days and getting our hands in the dirt. Spring can’t come soon enough 🌸

Autumn weddings, what’s not to love? This beautiful bride trusted us to arrange her wedding florals for her special day in 2022. We crafted each bouquet and boutonnière with the lovely blooms grown here at the flower farm. No two arrangements were alike for this wedding, they were all one of a kind and unique. The only noticeable similarity was the floral color palette, which was requested by the bride to compliment her wedding appropriately.

Listed below are many (not all) items that are typically available in the autumn season.

Focal flowers for September: Dahlias,Sunflowers, Hydrengeas

Accents:
Lisianthus, Zinnias, Asters, Amaranth, Celosia, Snapdragons, Statice, strawflowers, cosmos

Fillers: variety of grasses, eucalyptus, berries,poppy pods, love in a puff vine, etc...

We’re getting so excited for those 2023 weddings that are booked with us! We cannot thank you enough for your support and trust♥️
It’s always a pleasure to be a part of someone’s special day by using the flowers we grow from seed, tend with care, and arrange by hand. It’s important to note for those that don’t know: we are a flower farm, not a florist, so we only work with what is in season and do not order flowers for arrangements. Hey all! Here’s a peek at partially foraged arrangements we’ve put together this winter. Two went to small businesses as a “thank you” for their service and one was made as a sympathy bouquet for the loss of a loved one♥️ Message us anytime if you’re interested in one of our winter arrangements ❄️

Digging Dahlia tubers and prepping them for winter storage! It’s so fun seeing how many tubers the dahlia plant produces over the season. The second picture shows what the tubers looked like when we planted them this past Spring…what a HUGE difference! Yay for more Dahlias 🙌🏼 (plus we are ordering a couple new varieties to add to next seasons Dahlia patch 🤭).

Although the flowers are no longer blooming, our work here is never done. We are now shifting our focus indoors. Looking ahead-we’ll be winterizing tubers, organizing seeds we’ve collected over the season, ordering new varieties of flowers, getting the indoor greenhouses set up and ready for seed starting, creating a website to paint a clearer picture of Warren Hill Flower Farm, brainstorming merch ideas for advertisement, and many more behind the scene flower related things. We look forward to sharing our indoor work with you as winter approaches.

To add some color and warmth to your cold winter months, we will share wedding florals we had the pleasure of creating this year. We’ll also give you a sneak peak of a really cool project we’ve been working on all season, and hopefully get you excited for new things to come this spring!!

It’s been a pleasure creating these special gifts for you & your loved ones♥️ Here are pictures of just some of the bouquets we’ve made thus far. The flowers are still blooming but with the colder temps sneaking in on us, it won’t be too long before they call it quits until next year!
