Hello,

It’s been a while since we posted but we've made it to September!! I honestly don’t know where the time has went!

Hope you all had a great summer and have enjoyed getting back to normal-ish life again!

We are looking forward to hosting our first run in what feels like forever!!

We will continue to follow government guidelines but look forward to seeing you all on 19th September at Huntly Pavilion.

1km fun run starts @ 11am. 5km follows after.

We will have a prize on the day for the brightest dressed in each event, so the brighter the better!

**Please DO NOT ATTEND if you feel unwell or have symptoms of COVID-19**

Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you there.

Good evening we would like to update you on the colour run. First of all we would like to thank you all for your patience as this event has now had to be rescheduled more than once!

Our provisional date of April will still be within lockdown so we will be unable to run on this date.

We are looking forward in 2021 to the reopening of the country and a return to some sort of normality. With that in mind we would like to set a new date for the Colour Run of

19th Sept 2021.

If this date is not suitable and you already have a ticket we would like to offer a transfer to one of our future events as we are unable to issue refunds due to organisational costs involved.

We would like to thank you for your support and we hope to see you all in September

Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic earlier this year, Smash It Events have been following government guidance, medical advice and sporting best practice relating to COVID-19 closely.
We had hoped that postponing our Colour Run until September 2020 would have allowed us to hold the event as ‘normally’ as possible later in the year.
However, even with the recent announcements easing Scotland out of lockdown, then the current localised spike in COVID-19 cases, it’s clear to us that it just won’t be possible for us to organise and deliver the event our runners would have wanted.
So, it is with great regret that we feel we must follow the same course of action taken recently by other Scottish road racing events – like Baxters’ Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running, the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and the Scottish Half and 10k – and cancel the 2020 date for The Colour Run.
We realise that this news will be disappointing for everyone, but we do feel it is the best course of action given the continuing uncertainty surrounding sporting events and large gatherings.
We hope you understand the reason for this decision.
A new date of Sunday 11th April 2021 has been arranged. We hope to see all and more at the 2021 Colour Run!

A Blast Of Colour Fun Run
COVID-19 Announcement

With the health and wellbeing of everyone being our main priority. We have taken the very difficult decision to postpone our event.

The new date for our Blast of Colour Fun Run will be Sunday, 20th September.

We realise that the new date might not suit everyone and we regret to inform you that we will be unable to offer refunds due to costs already involved. We will, however, offer a free name transfer to anyone unable to make the new date.

We hope that everyone will understand the decision we have taken today and we hope to see each and every one of you on 20th September.
