And just like that, we’ve reached four years of LNC 🥂✨🥹

This year was marked by both professional and personal milestones, like the seamless production and ex*****on of our largest event to date and the birth of my twin daughters. While I am *always* grateful for my clients, I am especially grateful for those that I got to serve over the past year and into this one. As a new mom navigating being a working, business-owning mom, my clients have been some of my biggest supporters, celebrating my special season alongside theirs. And hearing from them — “you haven’t missed a beat!” — meant so much. I’m sensitive to their client experience, striving for it to feel no different than it did before I became a mom. At the same time, the gift of my girls has only brought more focus and more clarity to my “why.”

I am also immensely grateful for my team. No wedding day is seamless and successful without their care, grit, and attention to detail. We also have a blast working together and executing dream days, which I think is evident in our culture as a team. I could never and would never want to do it without them. They are also the ones that kept the gears turning during my maternity leave, executing our fall weddings smoothly and seamlessly! Truly my dream team!

No words will ever be enough, so I will say that I am excited and expectant for the ways in which we will grow, innovate, and serve in year 5! I love what I do, and can’t wait to do a whole lot more of it! 🫶🏻

We always love a glowing review, but when the mother of the bride leaves it the morning after the wedding … 😭

“Wow! Just wow! Donovan and I are sitting here with coffee in hand, reliving the most amazing….AMAZING day! I don’t know how you girls did it, but we’re in a daze thinking about everything. I just had to write to you first thing this morning to tell you how thankful we are. I can’t count how many people came up to us and told us that it was the best party that they’ve ever been to, and I would have thought they were just being polite had it not been the best party that we’ve ever been to. Ladies, no one was generalizing, several guests commented specifically on the planning and thoughtfulness that went into a party like that, which was key and speaks directly to the perfect ex*****on from the LNC team. There were so many things happening in the background that, I’m sure, I’m not even aware of but have to credit.

Lexie, you and your team were a dream to work with! And, that room...that room was stunning! I don’t think anyone left the dance floor all night. Braylon was crazy good. That Brass band is already going viral. Everyone crowding around them with Second Line handkerchiefs in the air 🩷 I never told you this but the band was a surprise to EVERYONE.... even my husband. His face was adorable and priceless! Your vendors are golden, but your team, none of this happens without you, Kennedy, Abigail, and Madison. If there were hitches, it was entirely unknown to us. The gift of not having to busy ourselves with anything yesterday was priceless. Even with all of the wonderful visuals—the praline display, the beautiful drinks (very yummy by the way), the gorgeous linens, the perfect floor plan—it was better than anything I could’ve imagined! We’re still on cloud nine thinking about it all, and we’ll treasure the memories forever. Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts, for making it all possible.

Start to finish, it was an absolute honor (& a blast!) to lead D+S through their planning process & serve them on their incredible wedding day. This couple was collaborative and trusting, and truly valued the unique perspectives and talents that each member of their vendor team brought to the table. The result was a tangible expression of beauty, intention, and above all else — love. Which was really just all an extension of who D+S are as people.

This weeks agenda includes putting the final touches on some March weddings, scheduling the final coordination meetings for April weddings, continuing to secure vendors and make design decisions for our fall weddings, and beginning the planning process for a handful of spring 2025 events. Of course, that’s a generalized overview — but it gives you a good idea of the timeline in place for events taking place in the next year or so!

So for every photo you see of a beautiful tablescape or a beaming couple, just know that hundreds of emails, many meetings and phone calls, and a ton of brainpower and time went into making it happen. The wedding photos you see only paint one part of the picture — a beautifully executed event. What it doesn’t show is all of the effort put in to achieve that.

We’ve been working hard over here and I can hardly wait to show you the culmination of those efforts! Cheers to the spring wedding season, and to the incredible clients we get to make magic for 🥂✨

3 years of LNC Weddings and not enough words to capture the gratitude, passion, and joy that each of them contained 🫶🏻

From the day I filed the LLC until now — I’ve stretched my design boundaries, been challenged with some unique event logistics and objectives, grown my team, refined my offerings and processes, collaborated with incredible vendor partners, lead 48 couples confidently through the planning process, successfully executed their beautiful wedding days, and *so much more* !! Through it all, I’ve grown and I’ve changed for the better.

But what hasn’t changed? My unwavering commitment to producing events that are a true reflection of the clients I am so lucky to serve. It’s always been about a service mindset, intentional planning, and a design that’s rooted in something more 🫶🏻

So here’s to the next year of LNC! May it be full of incredible clients, stunning events, and of course — some gorgeous linen selections! 🥂
