Where to even begin when sharing this wedding day!?

Start to finish, it was an absolute honor (& a blast!) to lead D+S through their planning process & serve them on their incredible wedding day. This couple was collaborative and trusting, and truly valued the unique perspectives and talents that each member of their vendor team brought to the table. The result was a tangible expression of beauty, intention, and above all else — love. Which was really just all an extension of who D+S are as people.

Much thought, and thorough detail and logistics go into producing a seamless day such as this one! I can hardly wait to share more and probably gush about these clients and this team some more too 🫶🏻

This weeks agenda includes putting the final touches on some March weddings, scheduling the final coordination meetings for April weddings, continuing to secure vendors and make design decisions for our fall weddings, and beginning the planning process for a handful of spring 2025 events. Of course, that’s a generalized overview — but it gives you a good idea of the timeline in place for events taking place in the next year or so!

So for every photo you see of a beautiful tablescape or a beaming couple, just know that hundreds of emails, many meetings and phone calls, and a ton of brainpower and time went into making it happen. The wedding photos you see only paint one part of the picture — a beautifully executed event. What it doesn’t show is all of the effort put in to achieve that.

We’ve been working hard over here and I can hardly wait to show you the culmination of those efforts! Cheers to the spring wedding season, and to the incredible clients we get to make magic for 🥂✨

3 years of LNC Weddings and not enough words to capture the gratitude, passion, and joy that each of them contained 🫶🏻

From the day I filed the LLC until now — I’ve stretched my design boundaries, been challenged with some unique event logistics and objectives, grown my team, refined my offerings and processes, collaborated with incredible vendor partners, lead 48 couples confidently through the planning process, successfully executed their beautiful wedding days, and *so much more* !! Through it all, I’ve grown and I’ve changed for the better.

But what hasn’t changed? My unwavering commitment to producing events that are a true reflection of the clients I am so lucky to serve. It’s always been about a service mindset, intentional planning, and a design that’s rooted in something more 🫶🏻

So here’s to the next year of LNC! May it be full of incredible clients, stunning events, and of course — some gorgeous linen selections! 🥂

A swoon-worthy bridal bouquet full of the most gorgeous fall hues and delicate texture ✨

While color-forward design is definitely trending, neutral design can be equally lovely! But I think what sets a neutral design apart is the ability to draw attention to the layering of textures and tones. Visual variation and balance is key. The total absence of color is not!

As a wedding planner, it’s my job to help my clients articulate their vision and then provide them with the solutions to fully embody and execute it. Whether you’re neutral-loving, or bold and colorful, or something in between — I love servicing many different design styles and preferences! No two weddings, and no two clients are the same. But my commitment to an intentionally designed, thoughtfully planning, and well executed day remains the same 🫶🏻

Engagement season is right around the corner, which as a planner means the opportunity to connect with newly engaged couples and the excitement of beginning new planning processes. I always prioritize finding that perfect fit — both on the client and vendor side of things.

And this classic, tonal-blue palette was the perfect complement to R+T’s garden party wedding!

We love a mismatched look because the possibilities and pairings are endless! When working with our brides to curate these looks, we pay attention to color tone, texture, pattern scale, party size (and more!) to thoughtfully source and execute the desired visual balance. We’re reminiscing on K+T’s November wedding at — which was recently featured in the inaugural .austin magazine🥂

This day and this couple will forever be a favorite. Yes, the brides vintage, fall wedding vision was a dream to get to bring to life (*I’m obsessed with how the design turned out*) but what made this one extra special was that every decision came from a place of intention and trust.

The day was all about celebrating with the people that meant the most — 32 of them to be exact. Every detail was made with the guest experience in mind, and given the nature of an intimate event, this couple was able to incorporate all kinds of lux choices to elevate the experience. With the timeline, of course we created structure, but there was no shot list to check off and less programming throughout the day, which created a slower, more intentional experience for K+T live out their wedding day & for their guests to celebrate it.

And when it came to trust, the bride was very quick to let me & my team do what we do best — which is providing clients with solutions (whether they be planning, design, or logistical) that are in alignment with their vision. She trusted that we were the experts, and trusted that the recommendations made were ones that would create the best possible outcome given her preferences.

These two qualities made this planning process and this wedding day one that we never wanted to end! I had a potential client (turned booked client!) ask me in their consultation call, “what makes a good client versus a bad client for you?”

My answer is pretty simple — it all boils down to trust.

Not the kind of trust that involves me doing whatever I want to create my own dream day (I have already had my chance at that!) Instead the kind of trust that comes from knowing that I wholeheartedly buy into YOUR vision and want to execute it to its full potential.

To trust, you respect my expertise and experience. You vibe with my design eye. You value my opinion, because you know that the advice is only coming from a place of wanting to create the best possible outcome. And ultimately, you let go of the need to have control over every aspect of this process, because you have a trusted partner in your corner.

When my clients trust me, it allows me to fully serve them, reaching the full potential of my value to them. Not to mention, it makes the process way more fun!

So when hiring your planner, or anyone on your vendor team for that matter, ask yourself — “can I fully trust them with my vision?” When working with your people, the answer should be a resounding YES. And once you’ve fully said ‘yes’ — trust them wholeheartedly with what they do best 🥂

Personally, spaces like this are some of my favorites to design because you’re walking the line of functionality and fun. Planning a thoughtful layout is crucial to the flow of guests and their experience, and design can be embraced with a little more boldness or a little more fun and whimsy within the context of the overall design!
