Still new here to Switzerland & to this money-making and hedonistic culture
I find myself repeating over & over :

F**k,
If only I had 1/100th (what am I saying ! 1/1000th !!)
of what some of the people here have on their bank accounts !
F**k,
I would change the entire game starting by micro funding and Angel Funding so many promising projects !

Like, seriously !!!

I know so many talented people out there,
who truly want to make the world a better place,
and all the skills, passion, fire, drive to make it happen,
that it always breaks my heart to see them struggle the way they do because they are under represented and limited by money.

It’s crazy.
And probably, in those people, there’s even you to add in the list.

Anyway.

Yeah.
It always mesmerizes me when I come to these kind of realities.
I find it all very strange, as if we live in an upside down world where all the hard workers that actually sustain & make the whole enterprise/ship work, just don’t get money their work.

( and I’m not saying that CEOs and other company leaders don’t deserve their income. I’m saying : it feels completely out of balance. No ?)

Coming to the point !!! 😂

I find it all really fascinating…. saddening… but also >>> INSPIRING ! …

I say inspiring because each time that I see / feel a trigger like this arise, it really 🎉 shakes me up,
🎉 wakes me up,
and gives me a clearer and confirming direction as to
🥳 where I want to go and most importantly,
✨✨✨✨ WHY ! … ✨✨✨✨
( the - why - is key to real success !!)

Also just sharing this openly, not to shame anyone, nor to layout feelings that you don’t care about.

As a Conscious Community Weaver,
part of my work and skills,
consists in
identifying the local community actors (including businesses) that operate at a small scale and still aim for Greatness and Goodness.

Also, as a worker “on the ground”,
I have found that quite a number of these small businesses just need a bit more visibility and support to actually LEVEL UP & reach their FULLEST POTENTIAL.

Excellent question, I must say !!!
I guess, you can see me as an odd & creative community “doctor” ! 😅

Basically,
my work consists in making the - diagnosis - on the livelihood of a set area.

As I do this, I ask myself this first serie of questions.
( It’s about the highs of an area )

😀 What is the highlight of this area ?
😀 What is it that makes this area what it is ?
😀 Who are the key actors involved in this success ?
😀 What are their ressources ?
😀 How do they go about in being so successful ?
😀 How can I use their ressources & skills in addressing the following questions …

Next, I ask myself :

🧐 What are the lows of this area ?
🧐 Who does it concern and why ?
🧐 What are the short term / long term solutions to this “problem” ?
🧐 How can I leverage & capitalize on the locale ressources ?
🧐 How can I bring back community together ?

𝗦𝗼. 𝗔𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 🙌🏼

As “a doctor” …
I’ve diagnosed that there was an issue with some young adults squatting & dealing in a buildings’ hallway which is causing obvious conflicts with the local inhabitants.

As “a doctor” …
(who also is an observant scientist !)
I noticed that
outside of their time dealing,
they enjoy getting together in the streets to compete with some breakdance moves.

So !!!…
As a “doctor” and community weaver what I see is ACTUALLY … TALENT !! 💥
…Unrecognized talent ! … 😢
As well as …
fun times where there’s actually something “positive” happening … 😃

But what I see MOST is 𝗮𝗻 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 !!!… 🙌🏼
… An opportunity to bring “change” by bringing these people under a different spot light !!! … ✨

One where they can feel the power and the - medicine - ! …
… of recognition ! 🙏🏼
…. in doing something good ! 😇
… and that they are passionate about.🥳

So what I do next, as a community weaver and event planner is to reach out to the
✅ local council
✅ local dance studio
because they they are both local actors and influencers.

I then
✅ explain to them the “situation” (=my diagnosis)
✅ give them my recommended “solution” (=medication)

Also, What I do is present to them in detail …
✅ who it is for,
✅ how much it will cost,
✅ how long it will last for,
Etc. Etc. Etc.

And then once it’s all accepted, I put it all into place !!!!
From …
✅ conception to actual …
✅ realization ! …

Also, in this case, and FYI,
my recommendation would have been to …

✅ put into place a dance competition at the local Townhall.
✅ get the dance school to train these guys up
✅ to film the guys in their evolution
✅ offer a prize to the best dancer
✅ and movie award to all who went on the journey of personal evolution

Before becoming a full time traveler and an event organizer,
I had another life !

It was one that was completely dedicated to the youth and that consisted in me identifying the teens that were on the verge of becoming fully marginalized after having dropped out of school.

So, pretty much every day, for 7 odd years, my work (and mission) was about me walking up & down gettho like streets,
in the hopes to
- maybe -
save & rescue a kid from getting to closely involved in the gangster life with, and you can picture this already,
its load of problems and conflicts with cops, neighbors, … when it’s not worse and ends in deaths...

I’m 38 years old and I have lived a life full of travels. It is both my passion and the essence of who I AM.

So much so that, today, when someone asks me :
- Where is “home” for you ?

I generally answer …
- “Home” is somewhere in between Ashland (Oregon), Lake Atitlan (Guatemala), Pai (Thailand), Ubud (Bali) and Byron Bay (Australia).

But, to be honest, the actual and real answer would be :

I don’t too often answer :
- “From the sky”.
It’s too much of an obvious answer ! And it does get kind of boring to always the same answer. 😅

So instead, and to switch things up and make life entertaining for myself, I now tend to answer :

It is the gateway to the 4 Vallées ski area and offers 202km of slopes and 22 lifts.
