This weeks pies…..
Chicken and vegetable in a white wine and tarragon sauce…..🤤
We are having ours tonight with roast potatoes and carrots. I dipped my roast carrots and potatoes in the white wine sauce and it was LUSH 🤤
Collection from Garlands or Chellaston, while stocks last…..

Happy New year to all of our customers from team Catherine Cooks 😀
My boys work so hard for me and I simply couldn’t do it without them….
A special thankyou to my husband, Aiden, who is always behind the scenes working hard and putting up with me 🤣 He supports everything I do and I am so thankful to him for that. ❤️

🥧🥧🥧🥧Pushing the pies for ‘25 🥧🥧🥧🥧

To warm the winter months I am going to continue offering a different ‘ Take ‘n’ Bake pie each week.
These homemade pies will simply need cooking in the oven for 45 mins from fresh or they can be frozen and used at a later date.
Each pie is 1 large portion, or 2 small portions.
They are £5 each.
They can be collected from Garlands or Chellaston.
Next weeks homemade pies will be chicken and vegetable in a white wine and cream sauce.
Collection from Chellaston weds- Sunday
Collection from Garlands thurs- Saturday

It’s back to business as usual in the Catherine Cooks kitchen today…
I do love Christmas but I’m ready for a new year with lots of new ideas…..❤️
The first 2 jobs this morning were making mars bar brownies, coconut cake, Cadburys puds stuffed coookies and 20 litres of soup using these leeks which are absolutely MASSIVE 🤣
All at Garlands tomorrow…..
Let’s get back to it 💪🏻👩‍🍳

Merry Christmas and a big thankyou to all of my customers for your amazing support this year…
Another year of doing a job I love, with some fantastic people.
To enjoy going to work is a luxury I am grateful for everyday, and it just wouldn’t be possible without my loyal customers.

Millionaires flapjack
Rocky road
Chicken, homemade stuffing and homemade cranberry sauce rolls
Slow cooked pulled bbq pork on a tiger bread sandwich….
Plus all the usual delights….. Don’t forget we do a pretty good full English….😉🎅

Lots going on in the kitchen today,
I’ve been making….
🍓 strawberry jam 🍓 for tomorrow’s cakes.
🍒 cranberry sauce 🍒 for tomorrows pies and festive chicken and stuffing rolls 🍗
🎄 festive millionaires flapjack 🍫
🎄 cranberry and chestnut stuffing 🎄
🍊 Jaffa cake cake 🍊
🍪 cookie mince pies 🍪
🎄 traditional mini Christmas cake dec 🎄
🍓 white choc and strawberry fudge 🍓
🥚 chorizo and cranberry scotch eggs 🥚- (these are first come first served if you haven’t preordered)
Oh and I had to take a photo of my lunch because it was lush….🤤 homemade tomato, carrot and lentil soup with grilled cheese 🤤🤤
If you are coming to Garlands over the next few days you are in for a real festive treat 😀🎅

A customer that loves flapjack ordered some with a ‘festive twist’…
So I soaked some mixed fruit in Brandy, added some cinnamon and mixed spice and hid some chunks of marzipan in there too…. 🤤🤤
My mouths watering, it smells amazing…🎅🎄
