We’ve been talking about this for a bit now, and we’re just getting started. What we eat matters. We have a vision for a healthy next generation. We are continuing to change, and tweak our recipe book to eliminate harmful and processed ingredients starting with processed seed oils, and here’s why:

🌮 common cooking oils such as canola oil, sunflower seed oil, grape seed oil and many more are created through a process using high heat, bleach, chemical deodorizers, and refined with petroleum solvents for extraction. The antioxidants and nutrients are stripped and we are just left with trans- fats.

🌮 Manufactures are adding chemicals including BHA, BHT and more for longer shelf life. Bad news- they’re accepted and known carcinogens that have already been banned in food in other countries.

🌮 Consumption of these processed seed oils is directly connected to an increased risk of coronary heart disease, dimension, depression, obesity and more.

🌮 Since the early 90’s the consumption of these omega- 6 polyunsaturated fats exploded, and now comprise 8-10% of the energy intake in America.
