Perri and Brian

This last Thursday, the sweetest couple tied the knot. Perri and Brian’s wedding has been something I’ve looked forward to for months.

They faced all challenges with positivity and kept focused on the bigger picture, which is their marriage and what they wanted from the day.

The details for this wedding were ✨everything✨. Perri even crocheted her own dress and the DIY coaster and thrifted mug favors were a huge hit.

I can’t wait to share photos from their best day. Thank you to our vendors for making this as seamless as it could be, I love you all.

You might have seen a version of these photos before- I try to take photos and post what the day is like, from my perspective.

But WOW am I so thankful for .photo for capturing the beauty and color of this amazing day. Her art, like her personality is so happy, uplifting and true. If this 2024 season brought me any vendor who I continue to look up to as a small business owner, but as an incredible human, it’s Dani.

You’ll also see hanging one of two disco balls for decor. Matt is hands down, one of the best DJ’s in Colorado. But what he also is? Is a friend. Matt has never let me fail. If I had wrong equipment for audio (for a wedding he wasn’t even part of)- he fixed it, if I was scared little baby to hop on a ladder- he did it. I am so lucky my career brought me to him.

Last highlighted vendor- Rocky Mountain Catering’s team is literally the best. They are always prepared, they are always willing to go the extra mile. And those smiles? My heart.

Olivia + Luke

Can’t wait to cross paths with you again, friend.

Kassie and Emily

I’ve known Kassie for years. One of her Matron’s of Honor has been one of my closest friends growing up. Which means that from a distance, I’ve seen Kassie grow into her beautiful life, and I’ve also seen how positively Emily has affected her life.

I’m lucky to have been part of this magical day.

Shoutout to .kencarylvista for being such a well oiled machine that they really don’t need the help of someone like me (an outside coordinator)- but accepting me anyway and allowing me to assist.

Believe it or not, but up until this last weekend, I had never been to Steamboat! So naturally, when Megan reached out, I instantly jumped at the opportunity. I was lucky to have been hired but such a loving, laid back couple.

Microweddings are slowly becoming my jam. There’s something so special about being able to be present in each moving part of the day when only managing a 40 person event.

Happy September!

I am actually at a loss for words that today is the first day of September. I was so excited for August- I had less weddings than July and less than I will have this month- so I was excited to get caught up on admin duties, be more present with my family, maybe take a nap- but yet it was here and gone just like that.
Everything happens in a split second.

Since I last posted on the grid, I have had 4 weddings! I’m usually so good about posting for almost each event.

With that said, just know I’m still here- I still love what I’m doing and who I’m doing it for. I can’t wait to be able to post what I’ve been up to!

I’ll be playing catch up a bit this afternoon, but I will be off tomorrow. Tomorrow, as with each year since my Dad passed away, I take the day to celebrate who he was and who he would be. He would be 54 tomorrow.🤍

Can’t wait to be back it on Tuesday and can’t wait to wrap up the 2024 season with an intense September!

Molly and Hudson

When I think about it, I’ve coordinated and helped plan over 150 events by now. How lucky am I to still get so emotional for each couple’s first look, the moments leading up to processional, their thank you toast, their first dance, their send off.

I was really excited for this one. Molly has taken planning in strides and never let the stress that inevitably arose, with such grace and willingness to learn more about each part of planning.

It’s such an honor to be with our couples on their best day, and I’ll forever be so grateful to be part of the adventure.

Sophia and Scott

I really love this couple. We’ve been working together since October, after I was referred to them by a family friend whose wedding I did back in 2021 when I was just a baby coordinator.

It was so amazing to see friendly, familiar faces at rehearsal and the day of. Sophia and Scott are absolutely made for each other and it was just such an honor to be part of the adventure.

Their photographer deserves a special shoutout because she was so helpful in wrangling in the couple to make decisions about what photos they wanted of the day, so I could better design the timeline. I can’t wait to see what magic you created! Thank you for being a literal angel

Morgan and Dryden

This career takes me to new and exciting places all of the time, but today I am especially grateful to have been somewhere new and exciting, but also close to home!

Morgan and Dryden opted for a small, intimate ceremony of less than 30 at Sunrise Amphitheatre followed by a big celebration with their friends and family at Magic Rat. I think that’s just the coolest.

Robyn and Anthony

Today, while surrounded by the beautiful mountains in Breckenridge, I found myself talking to an old man while setting up cocktail hour games.

In conversation, he mentioned it is his and his wife’s “50th Anniversary Year” and that they’re traveling all over to celebrate- this is one stop.

I asked him, “so, what’s your secret?” to which he responded, “don’t listen when they say opposites attract- they don’t. Marry someone who has your same values and core beliefs. Never be with someone who makes you question who you are”.

So if you need me, I’ll be crying in my car because damn, that made me miss my husband and son who never make me question who I am. But also, how incredibly lucky are Robyn and Anthony to have such wise humans on their team?!

Yesterday, we had the dream team of vendors and I really can’t emphasize how important it is to have a crew of good vendors on your day. Not just for you, but because when the team works together and knows each other, it makes everyone’s day that much more incredible.

Yesterday was magical.

I can’t remember the last time that a couple’s first dance made me cry, but man, their’s was beautiful.
