❌ Thurs 28th ❌️ It is with regret the commitee have made decision to cancel children's afternoon sports 😔 we held off in hope would dry up but rain now back on heavily & ground will defo be too slippy. 🎊 The sun is out & Creetown Gala starts tonight 🎉 with the crowning of our new Queen with her royal party @ Adamsons Square 6.30pm 👑

You can then join in with our Walking Family Treasure Hunt starts @ 7pm (entry £5 per team) & we hope to see you showing off your dance moves at our outdoor Disco with Stuart Lynch @ 8pm. Burgers will be cooking away & available to purchase during the evening 🍔

Tonight at 6.30 pm at Adamson square we will be crowning the queen followed by a family walking treasure hunt at £5 a team then from 8pm onwards we have Stuart Lynch with a disco and a BBQ hope to see everyone come along and have a great time and the weather is going to be good with us ☀️

A reminder if last any last min stalls on Gala Day, space is limited & we are looking at our plans for the park now. If you would like to take advantage of the £50 help out payment please register your float for the parade ASAP... there will be a closing date on this popping up soon 🙂

🎊 Creetown Gala 22 starts Wed 27th July with the crowning of our new Queen with her royal party @ Adamsons Square 6.30pm 👑 This little change has been made so the Queen elected can carry out her duties this year, rather than waiting until the following 🌞

Our Walking Family Treasure Hunt starts @ 7pm (entry £5 per team) & we hope to see you showing off your dance moves at our Disco with Stuart Lynch @ 8pm. You will beable to enjoy an alfresco burger (or 2 😋) from our bbq which will be cooking away during the evening 🍔

Posters going up shortly & flyers through doors but in the meantime the Commitee thought we would like to give you a look ahead at our new look gala week.

As we are a small committee, trying to re-establish gala after Covid, we have condensed the most popular events to 4 days rather than the full week. Something for everyone we hope... lot of family favourites plus a few changes... most notably being at the end of July & the crowning of our new Queen at the start rather than on Gala Day 😃 and a revamp of fancy dress categories on the main day.
