This weekend was a Fun party celebrating a high school graduatiion, where the grraduate will be attending IOWA.

Focal point was the popcorn bar, and the centerpieces were GLOWING cocktails.

4 Year Olds may be the purest forom of Joy In the world!
One of my favorite parts of party planning is that I get to help with only the parts that the Host wants help with!
This amazing Host had all of the food, deecorations and general party planned. But she wanted 1 Themed and Memorable activity for the kids (ages 3-6) to do.
We agreed to an obstacle course, complete with spidey silly string spray.
Even with fighting the weather and moving things outside, then inside, and then back out again, it was a big hit.

Tonight was the first time in 2 years that the NWSC PTA met in person.
We had our Spring Fling where we celebrated the hard work, dedication and relentless work of the PTAs in district 15.

Another successful, fun, and loving celebration yesterday. Barmitzvah for Ethan.
Mom wanted a simple, clean, and themed baseball motif.
The entry way banner had the logo that was used on the invites, centerpieces, and candy bags for the "give away."
It was a great day, and everyone left happy with a possible sugar high. 😉

I can finally share the most recent party I got to plan! It was for a dear friend who was having a milestone B-day.
SO I planned a WIG OUT PARTY.
We made it a SEMI-surprise, where she knew that there was a party, knew the time and location, but that was ALL we would tell her. Everything else was a surprise.

This weekend was a special birthday for a sweet kid!
She wanted painting party. She picked the picture, and she was ready to paint.
Mom and I planned out some cute painting decor, set the tables, and had everyone's individual supplies ready to go.
Kids painted a large canvas as they followed along with me. Then played tag and limbo while I reset their stations for the final steps.
As the paintings dried, girls decorated their cupcakes, with an artistic flare, to then sing to the birthday girl and of course EAT.
It was a great party filled with a LOT of cute girls talking, laughing, and celebrating friendship. 🎨🖌️🖼️🍰

August is my craziest month, so I do not schedule any events during that month. I refuse to spread myself too thin to give someone's special event the attention it deserves. BUT September is here and I'm ready for it!

Today was a HS Graduation celebration.
The theme was ALOHA. Aloha means hello and goodbye, so it was fitting for this exciting stage in this young ladies life.
The celebrating turned out great.
The food was delicious.
And the community that showed up was so sweet, fun, & loving.
Such a great day.
Food was catered by Chicago Culinary Kitchen and everyone RAVED about how delicious it was. There are definitely some NEW FANS of CCK.

Here is a THROW BACK to a shower I threw for my husband's sister.
The couple has a goal to travel to all 50 states, and so I incorporated state maps into the invitations, and decorations.
We went with a brunch where I made different quiches, a salads, fruits, green veggies....and all kinds of yummy desserts.

I said I would never work a wedding... I was wrong!
I was asked to help an amazing couple execute their perfect day.
They did all of the planning, and then brought me in to Make It Happen. My role was to take their ideal day and be the point person for the entire day so that THEY could be present in every moment of their day.
Did things go wrong, yep. Where there issues, oh yeah. Did I have to make decisions without them, you bet.
Did the bride or groom know of any of them... Not a single one. It was my pleasure to watch these two lovely, beautiful people laugh, dance, cheer, and smile all day long.
I hope every couple gets to celebrate their love the way this couple did.
Ugh. So incredible to get to be part of their day.

A little RAIN couldn't stop our Block Party!
We set up canopy tents, pulled the tables out, and toasted to SUMMER.
The weather held out and it made for an incredible evening filed with everything that makes this street 1 of a kind to live on.
We could NOT find an ice cream truck to book, so I made a cardboard "store front" and bought all the kids favorites to sell them. $1 for the same thing we wouldn't paid $4 for out of the truck.

Today was a Bridal shower that I got to help pull together a couple of details for.
So much fun working with the excited, future, sister in law.
We'd worked for a couple of weeks to find sweet ways to show the bride how excited she was to have her officially join the family.
Love seeing these moments come together.
Shout out to ALL the ladies who worked so hard to collect so many empty wine bottles to make these centerpieces come together.

This weekend there is a Bridal Shower that I helped with (I will post pics AFTER). And I've been working hard on an upcoming graduation party, that is going to be SO much fun. But I also have the honor of being a "Day Of" wedding attendant.
