It's hard to believe my princess is the big F I V E years old! I'm so glad she enjoyed her party. We had a few changes to our event plans that stressed this mama out but she is so easy to please. All she needed was a cake and her friends!

It will help to keep you grounded and keep your mission in the forefront of your mind”. It sounded like a great idea but I was SO intimidated to write it. I felt like I was having a business identity crisis. Now, having almost a year to reflect, I know who I am as a business owner and I know the mission I plan to achieve. If I could give a small piece of advice to a new business owner, it would be to write the mission! It will do wonders for your confidence and the future of your business!

Where do I even begin! Last June, I was bursting with excitement, creativity and motivation to get SceneSational Events off the ground. Starting a business isn't for the faint of heart! I spent the entire summer and fall learning and growing as a business owner. I made lots of friends and took a lot of notes. When winter came, so did the burn out! All of this new information was overwhelming and at the time, competing with other obligations. I did myself a favor and took a step back to regroup, recharge and refocus. They say, “you can’t pour from an empty cup”, and that is so true.
I watched this promo video a few weeks ago and it brought back all of those butterflies and made me so proud to think of what I have already accomplished. Starting a business can be scary. You never know how “they” will receive you. I will say, I’m thankful for all of the wonderful connections I’ve already made. All that I was chasing in the beginning, truly is now chasing me and I am thrilled and so motivated to keep going. So, here we go again!

If nothing else, the passed few years taught us that family and friends are so important. As much as we LOVE a beautifully decorated table and delicious food, being with the ones we love is everything. So however you're celebrating this year, be sure to take time to be thankful for what you have and hopful for the future. Count your blessings daily and take time to enjoy the moments. Because one day, all we'll have are the memories.💕💕

We are thankful today for all that God has done and for all of YOU. Thank you for supporting our small business. It means so much to us!

One of the most POWERFUL things I have witnessed so far as a 𝓈𝓂𝒶𝓁𝓁 𝒷𝓊𝓈𝒾𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈 𝑜𝓌𝓃𝑒𝓇 is seeing the genuine community of women in business, right here in Columbus. I wasn't sure what to expect and I have been pleasantly surprised. From the beginning of our business journey, so many women reached out to offer encouragement, support and advice and I am forever grateful.
I wanted to dedicate an ENTIRE post to this amazing wife, mother and business owner. Kelly owns .I met Kelly a few years ago at the Columbus Library for Storytime. We were both teachers turned stay-at-home mamas at the time. She told me she had a crazy dream to start a flower farm one day. Look at her now! It has been so awesome, and down right empowering, to watch her "blossom" into the amazing business owner that she is today. She gives me so much motivation to keep going. Not to mention, her work is INCREDIBLE. It's beautiful to see how we've come full circle. I cannot wait to see where we go from here! Be sure to head over to her page and give her a follow. Starting a new business is so exciting but so exhausting! There are so many things to do and learn. I've felt the more things I've checked off my list, the more I realized I needed to do. I've settled within myself that not everything will be perfect from the beginning. I just need to start and the rest will follow. With all of that, we are gearing up for our launch next week!!!! We have some very scene-sational things coming up next week to kick everything off! Thanks for being apart of this amazing journey with us!

Our vendor event this weekend was sort of our "Pre-Launch" party. We were able to show our community who we are and it was very exciting! We were asked multiple times, "So what events do you do?" After a while, I went through the list and stated, "Basically, if you want to celebrate it, we can decorate it". And now I'm definitely thinking that needs to be our tag line. 😁

Everyone had wonderful suggestions of creative events that we didn't even consider and now our brains are spinning with possibilities! We absolutely cannot wait to officially launch! We are hoping for the beginning of October but will try to give a more exact time later this week! So many fun things happening! 💕💕

Hello There! I know the importance of connecting a face with a brand, which is why I did not want to delay an introduction any longer!

My name is Kaneesha and I am the "face" behind SceneSational Events. However, if we are being honest, all of these wonderful people in this photo are the INSPIRATION behind the brand. Without them, I would never of had the courage or motivation to embark on this new and sometimes scary adventure.

The original idea of SceneSational Events starts back on a Spring Break trip with a friend. We were at the beach and saw someone setting up a luxury picnic. To think that people did this for a living was mind-blowing to me. I was hooked from that moment. Fast forward to this summer, my sweet husband gave me so much encouragement to begin this journey and he is the reason we are here. He felt Columbus (and the surrounding areas) needed this service. Although, many times I was unsure of myself, I knew this was something I could not pass up. I LOVE events and creating special moments. So here we are, crazy busy working behind the scenes to make this happen and so excited to launch.

Thank you for following us on this journey! We plan to keep you updated on what we are up to and when we plan to officially launch. We cannot wait to serve you!
