Lucas and Elise

A more "traditional" wedding for these two in August or last year.

Getting to do two weddings for such wonderful friends was a wonderful memory and seeing so many more people to celebrate them was great! A beautiful location and a truly loving couple getting to share this special day again, was a joy for everyone there.

Lucas and Elise are an excellent example of what it looks like to marry your best friend. They have kindness, gentleness and patience with each other. A real and heartfelt example of what marriage is.

Love them both, so very much.

Lucas and Elise

June 13th, 2020

These two are very dear and great friends of mine. We had to do two weddings because of Covid-19, and it was an honor to be a part of both of them. Having it held at a beautiful house, even though we got rained on but it was still a great time for all. Both have such kind and loving families and they have raised such wonderful people. Lucas and Elise are truly genuine and kind to each other, they make such a good couple! I look forward to seeing them grow together and make many memories.

Riley and Brett

This one will always be the most special and memorable. Getting to officiate my sister's wedding was a great day to remember. I remember she told me that whenever she got married, she wanted me to officiate it. This was a great first wedding to officiate, and it will always be the most important. It's crazy that it'll be 4 years of marriage for them coming up. Brett and Riley are a wonderful couple, and are now wonderful parents to a beautiful girl. Love all 3 of them!

-A wedding checklist- This is a little way to help you both as you go through all you need to plan your big day!

Basic Officiating Services and Prices:

Funerals-$160

-Travel Fee-$2/PER MILE ONE WAY

(Travel fee excludes funerals in Canon City, Florence, and Penrose. Payment is due the day of funeral.)

Weddings-$375-Main Payment

-This charge includes-Meeting with you about your wedding ceremony, being at the wedding rehearsal, performing the ceremony on your wedding day.

Additional/Optional Payments-

Ceremony Writing (Optional)-$50

Travel Fee-$2 PER MILE/ONE WAY

(Travel fee excludes weddings in Canon City, Florence, and Penrose)

- Main Payment and additional payment is due upfront for weddings when we first meet. Payment is CHECK ONLY

-Travel fee is due day of wedding rehearsal

About the owner:

Truman Harwood was born in Cincinnati Ohio and moved to Canon City Colorado in 2008. He participated in several theater productions in Elementary School, Middle, and High School. When officiating his sister's wedding he found out that he really enjoyed doing it. Public speaking is something he's always enjoyed doing and thought would be one way to continue doing that. Ever since he was little, he loved superheroes and still does to this day. Whether it be a funeral or a wedding, Truman hopes to provide the best service for you, whatever it may be.
