THIS!

I felt the need to share this.

This morning, I woke up to a transitional period. I knew this day would come, but somehow, I was still not ready for it. There was a sense of loneliness, sadness, and just a part that I know will be at bay in time.

On my way to work, I felt the need to hear God's voice, so I turned on my "GIVE IT TO GOD" Playlist on Spotify and this message spoke the loudest in a short amount of words.

The message said, "Anxiety and fear are orphan emotions. With being orphans, there's a sense of misunderstanding and feeling alone. The devil presents those emotions to you because in those times, you are the most vulnerable."

This resonated because that was what I was experiencing, and I know for a fact that I am on the path I'm destined to be on. I am happy with my all aspects of my life, and I know who I am as a person. I chose to surround myself with those who value me as a person, and I know my purpose on this earth even when it seems rocky at times.

Do not allow people or experiences to define you as we all are serving our purpose on this earth. We choose the paths we take and the people who will walk alongside us. Establish understanding with those who are considered a leaf, a branch, and a trunk in your life because those placements may impact the direction your life will go.

Leaf people: Temporary - They come and go.

Branch: They stick around a little longer but eventually die off and could kill the whole tree if not cared for or handled.

Trunk: Rooted and a core foundation to the life of the tree. It provides nutrients and support to ensure it's as lively as possible.
