I have not been doing Family sessions lately (mainly due to available time) but I have been playing with my little friend, the DJI Spark. We just got back from out little 5 day family vacation in and taking the little drone up into the air has been pretty fun.

Drobo has released two new products. I use a Drobo 5D for my photos. It's a great external storage device that keeps up with the demand of ever increasing photo libraries.

I haven't done many photoshoots for other people lately, but I have had a fair amount of time photographing my kidlets. I hope they don't mind when they are older that I have hundreds upon hundreds of photos of them 😂

When meeting up with friends and it starts puking with snow makes for some fun times. The boys took off to explore across the field.

Normally, I'll try and reschedule a family session so we have good weather. Though due to time constants we went for it when the weather was threatening to rain and rain it did. Though with the large evergreen trees of , we didn't get drenching wet, well I may have gotten a bit more wet. The misty field was a great way to end this fun shoot. Thanks for venturing into the rain with me!

After visiting Redwood Park, we stopped off at the beach in White Rock to finish off the family photo session.

Looking to get family photos done? White Rock, even at high tide is a great place to have them! Walking along the shore line, skipping rocks into the ocean waters is always a fun thing for families to do.

Each year I meet up with this little girl and her parents for family photos. It's cool to see her grow each year. She was super excited to place her fairy house among the others in the Fairy Forest of Redwood Park in Surrey.

It's our daughter's 9 month birthday today! Yup, we count the months until they hit what.. 1 year or 2 years? While setting up for this little shoot in our living room our son (3yrs) wanted his photo taken too. Don't mind the drool on her shirt, her first 2 teeth have broken through!

Summer seems to be over. Funny how fast it can happen. The leaves at Crescent Park in South Surrey seem to be changing colours and falling. Can't wait for fall colours, it makes for great photos!

We're currently on Hornby Island, though some of you might have seen Global TV mention it as H***y Island ;)

Having the little guy explore the island with me is fun. We walked around the conglomerate rocky shoreline of Grassy Point looking for crabs and had a blast throwing rocks into the ocean.

Too bad we're only here for 1 week. We could easily spend all year here.

Back at the hotel, what does a Dad do when it's quiet time? Make use of the soft light that came through the hotel window (diffused by a curtain) and take photos of our littlest one! No other magic with this shot, just the nice soft light provided by the sun!

We're currently over in Ontario for a friend's wedding. Since we have some time we checked out - This being a portion of with a 1 second exposure under a high-noon sun. If you look closely, you can see the people who want to walk behind the falls dressed in their lovely yellow ponchos.

It was fun to explore Lynn Valley Park in North Vancouver and do some family photos for a co-worker of mine. A beautiful forest setting.

This time of year is awesome for family lifestyle photos down at the beach. The low tides, the beautiful sunsets, it's overall a great experience!

A returning family had their family photos done at both White Rock and Crescent Beach. They particularly wanted photos at the pier this time.

Crescent Park in South Surrey is a great place to have a Family Lifestyle Photo Session done. A forest to explore a grassy field to play in and even a pond.
