I think we can all agree that's a reason to celebrate!!

I haven't been there for two weeks, but I expect the beer to be just as good as 2024!

That means it's Pajama Day!

Officially, I am looking for Christmas/Holiday/Winter themed pajamas, but if you show up in pajama pants, I am not going to not give you points. Because, as ever: I'm nice.

You can't just show up in everyday clothes and say, "I fall asleep in this in the recliner like every day".

Brunswick Time Again!!!

It's Christmas / holiday shirts and sweaters (1 per item each game, max of three per team). Next week, it will be pajamas. Again, it's just enough points that you can know less and still win, but you will still have to know something to win.

Come on down and warm up with some spectacular questions and fantastic beer!

How do questions warm you up? They keep you inside, where it's warm and there's beer!

Trivia, Spencer, Beer, Food, and extra Points for Christmas / holiday shirts and sweaters (1 per item each game, max of three per team). Next week, it will be pajamas. That's enough points that you can know less and still win, but you will still have to know something to win.

Like, Saturn takes 29.46 years to make it around the sun. Something our much harder-working planet does in just 1 year. I know that you're all "But, Spencer, it has to travel so much further to get around the sun". Sure, but it meanders around the sun at a loping 6 miles per second, while the Earth moves at more than 3 times that speed. Make no excuse for laziness.

Ok, while my numbers are right, I am just spouting nonsense at this point. My core point remains: The Earth will orbit the sun nearly 30 times in the time it takes Saturn to make around once. And you should know that tonight.

Tonight at Ignite - Brunswick

The first week of December is Holiday Headgear Week!

EXTRA POINTS for Christmas / Holiday headgear! Typically this means hats, but if you have a tiara, scarf, blinged out old school retainer, etc.. they all work!

This is how it works:

Wear something on your head that is either obviously holiday related or that you can argue into being holiday related and I will give your team 1 point per item up to a maximum of 3 points per game.

Also, I know that you are all familiar with Richard Strauss's One-Act opera "Elektra", but did you also know that it's name is shared by a Marvel comic book character. Crazy.

Any Christmas / Holiday hat or cap or scarf or headband or tiara will get you bonus point. 1 per decorated head to a cap of 3 (allowances made for 1/2 person teams).

Speaking of Christmas, you know who doesn't have a Christmas Album? TOOL. I can't say why, and inquiries will be made to Maynard James Keenan, but I expect he has better things to do than answer me and my nonsense.
