I'm Megan, a New England-based photographer specializing in wedding, engagement, family and newborn photography. It all started when I was old enough to hold my parents Sony digital camera in my hands. Anytime we went on vacation, or one of my 3 siblings had a birthday, I was always right there, by my dad's side begging him to let me have a turn. I had bounced back and forth trying to decide where I would take my life after highschool. Through it all, switching from major to major, I knew photography was that one constant in my life that always brought me pure joy. I decided to turn that passion into my career and I haven’t looked back since.
I am a lover of all things Fall. Pumpkin spice, scarves, tall boots, apple picking (I know I know, so basic). On my downtime you’ll oftentimes catch me snuggling my two fur babies, Sushi and Clementine, which are my entire world. During the summer you’ll often find me and my boyfriend hiking somewhere in Northern New Hampshire, or sitting at a local brewery enjoying all that Portland, ME has to offer!
There are big moments in life, ones that we build our entire life around, like getting married and starting a family. Then there are smaller ones, like weekends spent with your partner curled up on the couch binging some of your favorite tv shows, or maybe it’s camping in the backyard with the kiddos. Your story is unique and I promise you, when looking back at the years, those little moments will feel like the big ones and you’ll wish you had preserved them. No matter which you'd like to capture, I treat each of these candid and raw moments the same, with honesty, creativity, and a little bit of fun! Be YOU! Standing in front of the camera isn’t meant to be a stressful time. I may have you dance, tickle your partner or splash around in the water! Sessions are meant to be fun and a 100% reflection of who YOU are. So flip that hair, put some comfy clothes on, pop a bottle of champagne with me and let's do this!
