Picture this…. Aug 17,2024 there’s a flurry of activity at a B&B on Water St west, make up and hair is underway for 8 bridesmaids, brides mom, four lovely young girls who are anxious for the day to begin and of course our lovely bride Nicole. Flip the page , where the groom and groomsmen are getting ready, totally relaxation, groom is in living room and is getting a hair cut, to be fresh for the big day. There’s lots of joking, and laughter amongst friends, once dressed and a toast and the groom is on the way to see his stunning bride. Now every wedding is unique, and family is a descriptive only to be defined , as the ones you choose to love. This wedding gave everyone involved and those who got to witness , not just the union of husband and wife but of four girls who are sisters in every sense of the word. Just when the guests thought there could be no more emotional moments, then their officiant Craig Murphy announced that they would be signing of adoption papers, there literally wasn’t a dry eye at the venue as the oldest daughter took her place legally beside her mom and dad. Vaughan was now legally her dad, and while the ink is dry and legal, there was no mistaking this man was her dad in every sense of the word. The talented Jennifer Dawe -Newfoundland Wedding and Portrait photographer captured all the moments that united this couple, their girls in front of friends and family . Lester’s provided an amazing back drop for all festivities, from the donkey beying at just the right moment, to a field of sunflowers to the left of the ceremony and young goats who jumped in for a quick look , to a delicious BBQ meal for all the guests, after a quick room flip it was time to cut the cake and start the dancing led by the Musicmen DJ Services. Nicole and Vaughan , I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to be a part of your day. You have the most amazing family and friend group. It was a day that was filled with so much love.
