✨Fundraiser Post ✨

A dear friend of mine has been battling Graves Disease for a few years now, after being undiagnosed for MANY years while having multiple symptoms and ailments without an answer.

Her experience through the healthcare field has been everything unimaginable, short, looked over, and undiagnosed. Poor health care.

After having a friend finally tell her she likely has Graves Disease she finally got medical confirmation and a diagnosis.

It’s still been a journey.

She’s been unable to work fulltime as she used to because of her severe symptoms, seizures, and many more issues.

After many years and research she is finally scheduled for surgery this month to get her thyroid and thyroid nodules(s)! removed.

She’s prideful and humble, hates to ask for anything. But I decided to come up with a fun way to raise awareness and funding for her medical, travel, lodging expenses.

The surgery will be performed in Southwest Florida and they will likely have to spend at atleast a week.

I am hopeful in much love and support to help them during this time.

Out on the beach today, I was able to provide some information on our flag system to some very sweet vacationers 🚩

I was hesitant to approach them but knew I really needed too.
I’m glad I did because as vacationers not familiar to our area and the water and flag system, they were able to learn about the beach flag warnings.

As locals, if we provide a little more kind information to our visitors we could save a life. 🛟
