Mom and I were asked to make a centerpiece in this style for an upcoming event. This was a bit of challenge as this style was different from previous centerpieces we have made. But the outcome was great! We instantly fell in love with these and so did a handful of our clients. We can add pops of color by adding more flowers to match each unique theme!

These pictures perfectly capture the details that went into this party! My favorite was the custom book we put decals on for guests to write their favorite stories about the mommy & daddy to be for baby Atlas.
We were able to theme all the details perfectly; bookmarks, notebook & “future gummy worm” favors, bud vases on a stack of books and an enchanted floral backdrop.

✨Some behind the scenes secrets
We get so busy with creating decor and setting up that we forget to document all the behind scenes work.
While I was creating content to share about this party I had ideas that I wish I took videos or pictures of.
Such as…
Mom actually built a chair for our giant teddy bear to sit on. We knew the bear was not going to sit straight and we didn’t want to just lump on a pile of balloons. Mom put a lot of though and structuring to make sure the bear sat straight and had a clean ex*****on in this designs.
We also had to put rocks in our baby blocks and glue them together. The material of the blocks caused them to easily slide off one another and didn’t want the display to crumble if a guest accidentally bumped into it. Therefore we weighted them down and when we realized on site that it wasn’t enough we decided to glue them together.
I wished that I took of video of myself hiding all the pacifiers for guests to find. This is such an easy, fun game shower game for guests to participate in at their own pace throughout the event. It would have been fun to share the full set up!

Mom put so much effort into creating a disposable balloon backdrop. She wanted to find a material that was lightweight, could be easily moved, stood straight, and had options for customization.

This is perfect for anyone hosting a party where you want a balloon/backdrop element but don’t necessarily want a full set up/breakdown service.

➡️ you are responsible for discarding the display after the event

Since we are celebrating our 3 year anniversary, it’s good time to reintroduce ourselves to anyone new to our page!
I’m Brittany Perez, my mom Roni and I are the proud owners and operators of Blvd Events & Designs. We are a mother-daughter team with a passion for crafting, designing and setting up parties.
I am the narrator of our business and mom is the magic behind the scenes. Mom comes up with all of our large scale designs; she is the fabricator, builder, and foundation of all of our projects. My passion lies in creating stationery products, signage and finishing details. Together we are able to provide a variety of products to decorate any event!
Mom’s been creative for as long as I can remember; she built a haunted house every year for the neighborhood, she writes personalized poetry, she’s responsible for memorable parties and holidays, and the list goes on! We have been crafting as a team for over 10 years; after decorating two back to back events we were inspired to turn our hobby into a business. Since 2021 we have designed and decorated a variety of parties with a variety of themes!
The name BLVD Events & Designs is representative of our family. It stands for me and my siblings:
Brittany, Louis, Veronica, Danielle
Naturally when it came time to picking a name for our business we chose something that meant the most to us.

This day is special for 2 reasons; one, my beautiful cousin married her best friend! Two, she asked us to such a big part of her day! Mom and I had done our fair share of decor for parties and weddings but Nia encouraged us to use her wedding as the start of our business. Truth is mom & I are ALWAYS doing work behind the scenes and beyond our parties. We are always planning for the next party, the next step of our business, the perfect balance of work and life and where we want to be in the future. With that we’re consistently photographing our work to use as portfolio pieces. I couldn’t get the perfect shot inside so I decided to bring it outside and couldn’t be happier! This beautiful flower arrangement was designed for a bridal shower but what if we made a whole wedding collection inspired by these colors and flowers! Some much goes on behind the scenes! Mom and I hand make all of the decor for all of our events and it’s rare we get the same theme twice. These centerpieces were a process! And one that we enjoyed until we weren’t sure what to do next… We started with a vision for a colorful tea party, we went shopping over the course of a few weeks to consignment stores looking for teapots. This was fun! Every time we found one it was like Christmas; we got to decide which ones we wanted and planned what flowers would match! When we finally acquired all 10 teapots we played with coordinating flowers and realized it was too random. The colors didn’t flow together purposefully, instead it looked like each teapot and flower arrangement was its own little theme. So we brainstormed and decided to use a mint green to make all our teapots the same color and to create an arrangement of vibrant flowers that all matched. We’ve spray painted materials a hundred times and had total confidence in this plan. After 2 coats of paint we realized it was not adhering correctly and the paint was cracking. Mom briefly thought about sanding them down and trying again but we knew it would look too crafty and we would not be happy with the end results. At this point we were bummed, months had passed and we were starting over from scratch. The good news was we could create whatever we wanted (we were giving creative freedom for the design!) So we chose to keep the teapots clean, simple white and let the flowers be vibrant and fun! In the end we could not be happier with our end result! These came out better than we could have hoped for!
