⚠️ URGENT STATEMENT ⚠️

To all of our Xmas elves, Jingle bells, and all our yearly 12 Pubs of Xmas attendees, it is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we have taken the decision to CANCEL The 12 Pubs of Xmas - Jozi '21

Unfortunately Covid-19 and Government measures have lead to the closing down of many incredible venues which includes our much loved Fox Junction & The Good Luck Bar.

There's still major uncertainty in eventing going forward and we'd hate to postpone once again, but rather come back will all the Xmas spirit when we are 100% certain we will be able to go ahead with the event.

Thank you for all the support you have shown us over the years! We can't wait to pub hop with you in the future.

⚠️ URGENT STATEMENT ⚠️

To all of our Xmas elves, Jingle bells, and all our yearly 12 Pubs of Xmas attendees, it is with much sadness and heavy hearts that we have taken the decision to postpone The 12 Pubs of Xmas - Jozi '20 to 11 December 2021.

We have been working extremely hard behind the scenes, adhering to strict COVID-19 government regulations, to bring just a little bit more Xmas spirit to a rather gloomy year. In light of the increase in COVID-19 cases, President Cyril Ramaphosa’s speech, and the increase in “Super-Spread Events”, we no longer believe it’s in the best interest of you, our attendees to proceed with this years festivities.

Safety and well-being of our event attendees, partners, employees and customers is our top priority. We’ve had deep and lengthly discussions with the Joint Operations Committee (JOC), City of Johannesburg, regarding our beloved event and have come to the ultimate conclusion that the risk its too high going into Christmas and the festive season, thus we have made the decision to POSTPONE: The 12 Pubs of Xmas - Jozi ’20.

If you decide to hold onto your ticket for The 12 Pubs of Xmas - Jozi ’21 taking place on 11 December 2021, we’d like to offer you an additional General Access ticket FREE of charge. These tickets will be sent to you one week before the event.

What is The 12 Pubs of Xmas

SA’s most OUTRAGEOUS Xmas Pub crawl was back for a third time in Johannesburg in 2019 & it's going to be bigger & better than ever before in 2020! What is the 12 Pubs of Xmas? Well, it is a pub crawl that originates in Ireland where people don the most outrageous Christmas outfits (accessories), trek between a total of 12, yes 12 different pubs in the area (In this case the 1 Fox Precinct), buying AND drinking a beverage in each. To make matters worse there are strict, complicated and unnecessary rules that you must abide by upon visiting each pub, which believe it or not your drunk friends will still find a way to enforce. 12 POP UP PUBS 12 DRINKS 12 RIDICULOUS RULES - Like below 1: Must drink with the hand you don't use (Buffalo) 2:The Accent Pub 3: The Silent Pub, no phones. (Warm whiskey shot penalty) 4: The 'Partner' (Drink must be fed to you by partner) 5: Take off a shoe and wear it as a glove 6: HYDRATE (H20) 7: Stand on one leg while drinking 8: Speak in song lyrics/movie quotes, or sing everything you want to say 9: Crawl Pub (Crawl to the bar and order) 10: Jingle Shots Pub (Xmas Carols loud & proud) 11: Drink your relationship status. Green = Single, Red = Taken, Blue = It's complicated 12: Selfie with a stranger *Rules subject to change each year*

With great food and live music to accommodate the festivities, it is a MUST do event!

Each team must to allocate a WHISTLE BLOWER (Whistle needed) - Your blower will lead your group and make sure you are on track to finishing the course. 30mins per pub is a good estimate, but feel free to take your time unless your Whislte Blower is trigger happy!
