Hi everyone! 👋 I've been a little quiet over here. When I get into the thick of planning season, I get this weird guilt about posting instead of drawing up another floor plan or sending in a due design board. Thus, I am going to get with the times and work on some automation systems in the coming weeks. These events deserve their moment! 🥲 I can't believe it's almost been a year since Ching & David's wedding. I'll be missing this day for years to come!

I hope everyone had a great time this weekend at Life is Beautiful in Las Vegas! I went with my friends to and it was the first time I was back there since Mellisa & Jordan's wedding, last November! Missing all the fun I had planning this wedding and naturally had to dive back into .photos's album!

The first email I opened today was one of the last I will likely receive from about her wedding. It started with, "We are still riding the post wedding high!!! No one warned us about how exhausted we were going to be afterwards. We cannot thank you enough for how perfect and amazing our wedding was. It was everything we wanted and more and it could not have gone any better!!" ⁣

If you had told me two years ago I'd have gone back on this island planning a wedding in the same month, I probably would have laughed! I was on the clear other side of the island at totally different venues, but still! International planning is an entirely different cup of ☕️. Opposite time zone meetings, different currencies, some language barriers, more trusting people for their word and less contracts. Then add in island restrictions such as everyone and everything needing to travel in via ferry to spice things up! 🌶️ But once you've made it through the process and secured the best trust worthy vendors, the magic truly unfolds! Cue the excitement. ✨ The biggest positive of traveling internationally for a wedding that I have found is that there is a lot less red tape outside of the U.S. You want to dance on the tables? Go for it. Ho**ah in the venue? They'll work something out. Fireworks? Easy add on. Sound ordinance? LOL we party until 2 AM here, don't sweat it! Grateful for these wonderful experiences!

Mellisa's planning style was feeling before design. How her guests felt within the space, the service style, the food they were eating, was priority before we thought about aesthetics. I believe by planning with this priority order made the best wedding possible for these two and it turned out just as beautiful and fun-loving! The last two photos as proof 😉

Santorini heaven ☁️ ⁣ ⁣ Had the most incredible time with Ryan in this pure bliss of an island. Time to catch a ferry to Mykonos and put my wedding planner hat on. It's rehearsal day for Nov & Dyllon! We picked the dreamiest hotel to host her closest family and friends for a sunset cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, good music, and specialty drinks. I couldn't be more excited to line up a bridal party 💕
