Hi everyone. I’m Valentina and I am actually an introvert ☺️. I have the capability of being extroverted in the right setting. That is when I am working as a DJ, with close friends and family and when others (usually an extroverted personality), gives me the green light that it’s ok to be me. I read vibes😉

It gets frustrating sometimes but this side of me keeps me centered. And it’s a big part of who I am. So I have learned to embrace what I cannot change and be grateful for the lessons it has taught me. In the end, it’s all part of our personal growth, process and journey.

If you’re not looking to make the MAJORITY of your guests happy, You’re missing the point. You can’t please them all, so forget that. But, you should try to create a vibe that resonates across the board. You older guests are super important too aren’t they?

It is totally possible to have a KILLER dance party that EVERYONE will continue to talk about. It’s all about the experience with a DJ who understands vibes.

PEACE out to this past weekend’s line up of events ✌️and leaving you with 2 Long but important tips.

1. Dinner music can vary so much. Depending on your venue and the acoustics. Your desired vibe may need to be tweaked last minute.

Picture your guests listening to Frank Sinatra’s the way you look tonight at a comfortable level. In a space with Hard surfaces such as bare floors and walls and hard furniture such as wooden or metal tables, chairs and counters, it may sound pleasant at first, but when it hits the crescendo, it will throw the vibe off.

Your DJ should be able to control a lot of sound issues with the right equipment, but we’re not super heroes😄. Song selections are also an extremely important part of this process.

In a situation like this, a more background light tropical house or sexy NY Jazz lounge vibe might be more suitable. It won’t clash with the acoustics nor with the chatter.

2. There’s a reason why some DJs charge a lot more than others. Years of knowledge of the industry, of music and its affect on people. Not all people are created equally and this also applies to music. What brings out excitement in one person, may not have the same affect on the next. The ability to read ENERGY , Professionalism, dressing the part and good ole common sense. There’s so much more to being a great DJ than just simply playing music. So don’t be afraid to ask questions in order to determine if you are speaking to a high level pro for your big day!

Let’s talk ceremony music!

Your typical classical music is TIMELESS. I personally LOVE classical musical. However, it can be a bit boring if played back to back. Prelude music can still be classy but add a bit of flair with these pop hits gone classical inbetween 😃.

This keeps your guests excited, energy high and posture upright instead of slouching over because unbeknownst to them, their bodies are reacting to the music being played.

Women who fight on the ground. 31 757 women serve to the date, representing 15,6% of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Even more took a gun and join the territorial defense units.

Women who became a strong voice of Ukraine. Some of them are professional journalists and bloggers, others speak to tell the truth about the Russian-Ukrainian war from their own experience.

Women who are the first to come in case of emergency — medics, rescuers, firewomen.

Women who fight for lives in the rear — international observers, human rights activists, psychologists, seamstresses.

Women who take care of their families, who travel long distances to find safety for their children.

Women who volunteer within the country as well as abroad to support those who are in need.

Mic check 1,2 one, two!

Here are 5 things to consider when using a Mic for your wedding ceremony + Speeches 🎤

1. Is it wireless ? Nothing cool about a wired Microphone 😬

2. Do you need a stand? For photo purposes I would opt out of this one, especially for ceremonies. But if you must, perhaps rent one for your readers and have it set off to the side.

3. Do I really need a microphone for my ceremony? YESSSS! No matter how intimate your ceremony is, nerves set in and after the first 2 rows, no one can hear anything. I have seen this too often even after I have suggested the use of a mic. Your officiant needs to use a mic. Some don’t like the idea but it is IMPORTANT. Also, your videographer will need to plug in to get your vows and incorporate it into your final cut. It serves as a nice backup option as well!

4. During your vows or any speeches, PROJECT! Speak up, don’t be shy. The volume level can only go up so high to keep up with you before it starts to give feedback. Au contraire, if you are too loud, we can easily adjust your volume so you sound crisp, clear and don’t blow the doors off the venue😄

5. If you are holding the microphone below shoulder level, we can’t be friends 😞. Grab that mic like you own it and hold it up close to your mouth without it touching your lips.
