Corrie & Sannox Village Hall was the perfect venue for Siannen & Ernesto’s gorgeous wedding last week, which had a Summer Festival vibe 🎉🎸🎵😍

The Bride and Groom are both talented musicians, as were many of their guests, so it was a real pleasure to officiate their ceremony then enjoy the performances throughout the evening!! 🥰

The rain stayed away for this gorgeous couple and we had a lovely sunset and even spotted some dolphins in the distance! 🐬💕

Anastasiia & Ewan’s big day on 25 June was more than a wedding ceremony…it was the joining of two cultures - Scotland & Ukraine 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇺🇦🥰

We included traditions from both countries: a Rushnyk stepping ceremony; a Hand Fasting ceremony; a lovely Quaich ceremony using a gorgeous Distillery Exclusive Malt from Lagg Whisky ; and a Korovai Bread Ceremony! ❤️

We even had lilac Margaritas and pink Piña Coladas! 🍸🍹

Connor McEwan Photography captured the whole day beautifully and the ceremony was live streamed for loved ones in Ukraine who couldn’t be there 🙏🏼💞

✨ MAGICAL MOMENTS ✨

Last Saturday saw the first wedding of the season for and for me as a Humanist Celebrant 🎉

It couldn’t have been more special… Emilie & Sam started the day with a beautiful and intimate sunrise vow exchange ceremony at Machrie Standing Stones 🌅💖 with the lovely capturing the moments so perfectly 🥰

Later on, I had the privilege of declaring the lovely couple legally married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony! 💞

Then the guests danced under a fabulously massive brioche 🇫🇷, enjoyed some ceilidh dancing 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and enjoyed a stunning Kintyre sunset 🌄✨

Such a wonderful start to the year and such a gorgeous couple ❤️ Wishing the new Mr & Mrs Oldham much love and happiness for the future!! 🥂

I absolutely love my job as a Celebrant and have had the privilege of conducting over 35 wedding ceremonies since I qualified in 2020.. ❤️

I’m delighted to say that, over the winter, I re-trained as Humanist Celebrant with the Caledonian Humanist Association and am authorised to conduct legal ceremonies 🥰
