We would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended HØL x Sonic in Rebellion on Friday night.

Januarys are notoriously almost impossible for events/nightlife, but you all came out in your numbers, travelled from afar, and contributed to creating THAT vibe on both dancefloors from start to finish. We are so grateful to everyone for supporting us so far.

INFO FOR TONIGHT IN MANCHESTER

- Please arrive BEFORE the time stated on your ticket. Anyone with an early entry ticket who arrives after 23:30 will be charged the difference to the on the door price which is £20, no exceptions! Plan your journey to arrive well before 23:30.
- We start at 9pm. Room 2 opens at 10pm. Final entry is 2am.
- Remember: absolutely no photos or videos. We will put a sticker on your phone cameras upon entry.
- There WILL BE tickets on the door. You can pay cash or card.
- There will be a cloak room! Cash or card is fine.
- No set times will be released. Arrive early and stay late to support all the DJs.
- Bringing earplugs is strongly advised. The soundsystem is powerful, protect your ears!

2023 was a year we won’t be forgetting for quite a while.

From our first steps into the Manchester scene, to the truly unforgettable day/night party at Meraki, we have all shared together some great moments that will live long in the memory.

Our mission remains simple - to provide a nightlife experience that prioritises your experience regardless of your age, race, creed, gender or sexuality. From trying our best to make sure our lineups are perfectly curated from start to finish, to placing your safety, wellbeing and comfort as our number one priority, we are so grateful that so many have decided to come with us on this journey, and we really are only just getting started.

Thank you to all artists, contributors, venue staff, and you the community for making each event as special as they were. Each and every one of you has bought into the ideas we put forward and contributed to making HØL what it is now and is fast becoming.

Have a safe and happy new year everybody, and we’ll see you in 2024, starting on 12.01 💕

After visiting Rebellion recently, we were very impressed by the comprehensive soundsystem and lighting rig upgrade that they have invested a lot into. With the quality of the venue’s new systems, as well as the clear alignment of values between the promoters and venue, this makes it the ideal space to present this two room event to you all.

Values

As always, we are striving to create safer, more intimate spaces. To this end, we will be placing stickers on your phone camera to enforce our no phone camera policy, protecting your privacy and intimacy, whilst also promoting a dancefloor culture that better connects the crowd to the artists.

HØL, SONIC, and Rebellion all work towards having a judgement and discrimination free zone. Anyone not respecting this will be immediately asked to leave.

RAISING MONEY FOR THE LITTLE PRINCESS TRUST

Tomorrow we will be aiding .dj in his brilliant efforts to raise money and awareness for , a charity that provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatments or other conditions.

So far, he has raised over £600 and has worked tirelessly to spread awareness of this wonderful trust.

Ryan has been growing his hair for the last couple of years, and will be shaving it all off on 26th May so that he can then donate it.

Everyone attending tomorrow will have the option to make a donation via card payment or by throwing a few coins into the box we will have set up on the door.

VENUE INFORMATION - REBELLION

Location - is situated right next door to Deansgate train station on the same block.

Capacity - 520

Slide 2/3 - This is the main room. We will be adapting the stage to give people the option to dance around the sides of the booth, providing a more intimate connection between the artists and dancers.

Slide 4 - This is the area that leads from the main room down to the main bar and indoor chill area, with the entrance to Room 2 at the top right hand corner of the picture.

Slide 5 - Room 2. The room goes a bit further back than from where this picture was taken, allowing for 60-80 people to comfortably be in here with optimal sound quality for the room.

We’re also very excited by the production we have to ensure the visuals and sound hit the spot!

GOOD NIGHT OUT CAMPAIGN ACCREDITATION

We’re delighted to have become an accredited promoter of Good Night Out, who help nightlife spaces and promoters to better understand, respond to and prevent sexual harassment and assault. Our top priority as promoters has always been to provide safer spaces for attendees, artists and staff, and GNO have been absolutely brilliant in providing the tools, training and knowledge to help us achieve this.

Their accreditation programme has transformed hundreds of venues, bars, pubs and clubs into safer spaces to work and party. They provide a specialist policy, interactive training, positive posters and dedicated support afterwards.

We highly recommend GNO to all venues and promoters, with sexual harassment and assault still unfortunately being prevalent in events and venues across the country.

Join us for a special afterparty featuring exciting new project Granite Mechanic.

Going deep into the night, Granite Mechanic is a newly formed trio of from , of .mcr and and of , and . They will be taking us through the sounds of electro, delving into freaky galactic rollers, melodic space-induced selections and tracks that are layered with robotic nuances.

Once we finish at 6am, anyone wanting to travel with us all to catch iconic afterparty at the DBA (going on until 4pm) in Manchester, featuring Max CTRL, Aalice, Sam Burton, and Blasha & Allatt, is welcome to book a place on the one-way coach that we have booked to take us there at 06:15am, priced at £11 per coach ticket.

have forged a sound that resonates with the industrial feel of their home the North West. With a well earned reputation for hosting and playing a part in some of the most intimate raves around the north west, this duo are well versed in making their crowd truly lose themselves in the rhythms and tension that their music does so well to create.

has spent the best part of a decade navigating and championing underground electronic music within the Manchester scene. He has a deep love for techno which is bass-heavy, rich with hi-hats and layered with grooves that know how to reel you in.

is a Manchester based DJ & producer who has deservedly been taking bookings all around Europe recently. He has a reputation for his young attitude and energetic grooves.

High intensity, raw cuts and subtle imperfections in his sound act with tension to grip the mind firmly in a hypnotic wormhole excursion.

has truly been a legend in the techno sphere for more than a decade. He sticks to his origins and moves skillfully through sonic environments consisting of deep basses, noise, dark beats and quotes from all kinds of musical genres.

From this room, expect an intimate journey through rhythmic, dark, hypnotics grooves, rich powerful beats, and an exploration through the sounds of the underground techno scenes of Manchester, Berlin and Prague amongst others.

is a rising star in the UK techno scene, known for her fast paced, energetic sets. Her recent releases "Lost in Translation" and remix of Lessss' 'Fight Alone' have gone a long way to showing us all what Danielle's plans are for the future.

, founder of , is an exciting, emerging talent in the hard techno world, a consistent deliver of hard, fast and energetic techno beats, with strong support from some of the biggest names in the scene, as well as releases that have smashed dancefloors all around the world.

is a star in the making. Her relentless industrial, hard style shows no mercy for the ravers at any event she plays. Her mixes on DUSKCAST, Monasterio Chamber, Sentimentalism, as well as her brand new mix on The Brvtalist, to name but a few, exemplify her hard-hitting style.
tx is a young French artist born and raised in Paris. His productions are highly influenced by the warehouse parties, which shaped the Paris scene in the 2010s.

His love for heavy metal music influences his techno productions. Multiple raves and club nights led him to his new passion – the production of his own music and creation of his CLTX Techno project as well as running his own imprint TX & Autonome Records. If we talk about a signature, he will reflect it in his powerful kicks, ravey fluent vibes, and raw structures.

has found his way, the path of Techno, with a philosophy that envelops him in a cloak of darkness.

Influenced by the literature of Dante Alighieri in his work the Divine Comedy, as well as everything related to history, Vendex comes with the intention of creating a path to an inner journey wrapped in dark melodies, blunt and sharp bass that defy the natural, reaching supernatural sounds that touch or even reach what would be the sound of the underworld.

From this room, expect nothing less than relentless, hard-hitting techno with a variety of different influences and sounds from each.
