Guess what? We’re growing pumpkins this year! That’s right—this September, we’re hosting a special Fill-A-Pumpkin event where you can pick your very own pumpkin and fill it with beautiful fresh-cut flowers straight from our garden.

It’s the perfect way to welcome fall with a unique, seasonal arrangement that’s both fun and festive! Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to harvest time.

Exciting News for Photographers & Sunflower Lovers! 🌻📸

We’re adding a small sunflower field at Lily’s Garden, perfect for photography sessions! While we may be small, our garden offers stunning photo opportunities throughout the seasons. Check out some photos below from past sessions to see the magic for yourself!

🌞 Sunflower Session Availability:
✨ July – Sunflowers behind the barn
✨ September – Sunflowers beside the barn
✨ July–October – The entire garden is a breathtaking backdrop!

📸 Photography sessions: $15 per session. Flower picking not included but can be purchased separately.

Flower farming is full of so much joy, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t also full of worry. Every season feels like a leap of faith, and right now, my heart is heavy as I wait for my tulips to emerge.

I planted 6,000 tulips this past fall, dreaming of a beautiful spring kickoff for Lily’s Garden. I imagined rows of vibrant blooms, the excitement of the first harvest, and sharing their beauty with all of you. But as I check on them each day, my heart sinks a little more. Only a handful have peeked through the soil, and I’m terrified that something went wrong—that I won’t have the tulips I was counting on.

Later today, I plan to dig down and check on them, hoping they’re just a little slow this year. But the waiting, the unknown—it’s hard. Flower farming is incredible, but it also tests your patience and trust in nature.

If you’ve ever poured your heart into something and felt the anxiety of waiting to see if it will turn out, you know exactly how I feel right now. I just have to keep reminding myself—flowers teach us patience, resilience, and hope.

Fingers crossed that they’re just taking their time.

🌷Tulip Season is Almost Here! 🌷

We planted 6,000 tulip bulbs this fall, and while it’s just a small strip, it’s going to be FULL of beautiful blooms! Our self-serve UPick will open as soon as we start seeing tulips pop up! 🌱✨

💐 UPick Pricing: $2.50 per tulip
💐 Custom Orders: $3 per tulip

We’ll also be setting up multiple times throughout the week and weekends in March with fresh-cut tulips, so there will be plenty of opportunities to grab a bundle of locally grown beauty!

🌷 Tulip Picking Tip! 🌷 When picking tulips for cut flowers, you can gently grab them at the base and pull them up with the bulb. Since tulips don’t perennialize well after cutting, we plant new bulbs each year to keep our blooms fresh and vibrant!
