Hi All! Kallie is going to be Directing a fundraising pageant.
Don’t worry we will not be skimping on the prizes. All of the contestants will win a crown and sash as well as gifts and prizes.
We will also offer a special needs division that is non scored.
We will host a workshop 30min before registration so contestants who are brand new will have the chance to get comfortable with the stage. We are also available for questions before hand.
We will be hosting 2 fundraisers. 1) a raffle. The proceeds will help Kal get to Nationals. If anyone has donations, or would like to stop by and buy tickets, it is not limited to contestants.
And 2) we are going to start collecting prom dress donations. We will post more about that in a separate post.

Hello Everyone!! With all the fires going on, I hope everyone is safe.
I was thinking of having a pumpkin patch event, it would just be a group trip to the pumpkin patch where we would all wear our crowns and sashes and take some photos. Because of the fires and the danger to some of our local patches, it would likely be at pheasant field farms.
Let me know your thoughts.

Doing my financials this morning. 3 things -
1) I have a deposit from (Leon) but no contestants name, so please pm me and tell me who to apply it to.

2) I have several entries with no deposits. If you paid via Venmo, PayPal or FB pay, I believe I have you recorded down, but please screen shot your payment and bring it to registration in case I have missed it.

3) there is still time to enter the optional outfits and photos on Sunday. Please bring payment in either cash or electronic form. No checks accepted day of.

Thank you to everyone that was able to make it out today. If you weren’t, don’t worry! You will have some time the morning of the pageant to practice.
If you have ANY QUESTIONS please feel free to text or comment. Pageant details below are an overview of what we discussed today.
Pageant date: Sunday June 5th
Building will open at 8:30
Registration open at 9:30
Pageant will begin at 10:30
There will be a dressing room for outfit changes
Optionals are open for entry up until 10:15 the day of the pageant, just be prepared to bring the outfit etc.

available Optionals : $15 ea
-Additional photogenic photos
-Additional Fun in the Sun Outfit (only highest score will count for Division queen)
-Interview
-Talent
-Runway wear

All contestants under 3 are required to have an es**rt on stage.
Over 3 are allowed an es**rt if they need it
Escorts should wear all black or neutral colors so that the contestant shines bright on stage.

The exact order will be posted the dat of pageant, plan for Party Wear to be last so that we are crowning and doing photos in their party wear.

COMMUNICATION IS KEY - there are a few moms competing in the Miss and their children competing in the Little Miss, we want to make sure you enjoy yourself, so if you feel rushed or do not have enough time to get ready. Please communicate that to event staff and we will make sure we get you enough time to get ready.
Moms, did you go…hmmm… we do have some spots still open in Jr. Teen, Teen, Miss and Ms. divisions. Consider joining us onstage yourselves.

Today is NOT mandatory. It’s simply an opportunity for you to see the stage configuration, ask questions and take a practice run or two. If you need help with stances, walks, advice with on attire etc. please feel free to drop by at 3 at lower greenhorn park. I will be in all black with long dark brown hair.

Okay, I was nervous to schedule this because of our crazy weather, but we are going to take our chances and hope that there is good weather. So… Sunday May 15th we will hold a practice at lower greenhorn park at 3 pm. NON DRESS practice. You can bring payments if you are on a payment plan. I will take cash and checks that day. Please note I can not take checks on the day of the pageant for final payment. Cash or electronic only on the day of the pageant. I will have some balloons up.
I also have a few extra crowns which means I can take a few additional entries. Please bring a friend who might be interested in entering! Anyone who brings a friend to enter will get a free additional photogenic entry.

I’m so sorry on the practice delay, I am struggling to find a free weekend. At the moment it looks like the 15th of May is my only day. I can do afternoon so that those who attend Church won’t have to miss out. what for the Afternoon of the 15th look for everyone?

Who is getting excited???? I know it seems like we’ve been quiet, but lots is happening behind the scenes! Okay please read all the way through this post and comment below!

1) Little Miss Siskiyou is happy to Announce we will have professional photography services available for stage photos. A photographer will be photographing the contestants on stage and will have photo packages available at the pageant.

2) the Registration date has passed BUT I have extra crowns so I am able to open registration back up. I will have a separate announcement this weekend with how many spots are available. So if you have a friend who didn’t get in before the deadline, tag them.

3) lastly, let’s schedule a pre pageant meeting. I would like to schedule an informal practice along with a Q and A session so that everyone will arrive on pageant day feeling good about being well informed. Please comment below on what works best. Weekends? Evenings? Etc. because I know we have sports going on etc. the actual demo and meeting will only last 45 min to an hour and I will stay behind for any of the contestants that want to practice.

HOMEWORK FOR THE WEEK! Work on pretty feet! This is pretty feet! If anyone does Ballet, it’s 3rd position. Any time you stop on stage, you do pretty feet. When my daughter was little, we would make a game out of it with star stickers. She would get a sticker every time I said stop and she remembered to get into pretty feet.

We are creating a Ms. and Mrs. pageant. It will be a 1 day pageant held in conjunction with the Little Miss Pageant. But I am adding contestants to the Miss Siskiyou page because the videos and information being posted there are more in line with what the Ms. Mrs. contestants will need. Here is another example of a Pageant down in Barstow. Don't panic, the dresses in this pageant are formal, we only require "party style" so dresses do not need to be this fancy. What I would like for everyone to take a look at is the hairstyles, smiles, moves like waves and kisses. Parents of babies and toddlers, notice that es**rts are wearing colors that fade them into the background so that the child may stand out. Almost all pageants require white ruffle socks and white shoes, we will not be requiring that, but if you choose to continue on (there will be a pageant in Medford in August) you will need them.
