In a digital world I’ve fallen in love with film photography all over again! I started on a film camera many decades ago, and had forgotten how beautifully it produces images - Incredibly romantic, warm, detailed images - digital cameras cannot replicate.

These photos were taken with my new baby, a 1952 Hasselblad medium format film camera, (a gift from my boys 🧡)
I love the steady build and design. I love that you must be aware and purposeful with composition, exposure, and settings because you only have 12 exposures per roll. (Cant snap a photo and check it on your LCD screen for adjustment!)
And finally I love the sound it makes when the shutter releases.
Yeah, I’m in love. Lol.

And its super exciting to receive the film back from the photo lab! I literally squealed when I received these photos!

So, I am beyond excited to announce that We will be adding medium format film photos to our wedding day coverage! Yay! I am so excited to capture beautiful film photos to go along with our cinematic films!

When Victoria reached out to me, the dream wedding she had been planning for over a year had been stopped short by the pandemic. She reorganized, scaled back, even changed venues to make her wedding day happen. And more than ever she wanted her day filmed. Guidelines for gatherings changed daily and it was only a few days before her wedding that everything came together.

I knew this day would be even more special because of everything Victoria and Chris went through to make it happen. And it was a 𝐵𝑒𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝒻𝓊𝓁 𝒸𝑒𝓁𝑒𝒷𝓇𝒶𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃!

Every year I photograph a few seniors, young men and women I’ve had the pleasure of knowing since they were in kindergarten. This year was extra special because I photographed my beautiful Goddaughter. I’ve been looking forward to this moment for so long. It looked a lot different, instead of cheering for her in the stands I watched a video of her graduating, (I still cried). I’m so proud of her and all the graduates of 2020. Resilient, strong and ready to make a difference in the world. Congratulations 2020 Graduates!
