Hopefully you're on good spirits. The city of Killeen (my city) is putting on our Annual Family Friendly Poetry Slam (Rhythm and Vibes) in about a month. Which simply means no vulgar language (also STRONG sexual content). We currently have 6 Poets registered to compete for $1,000.00 first prize. That's right only 6!😮 Now registration is $40, and yes there is a prize for 2nd and 3rd place, but we all know you're coming for that top spot.😏
Honestly, I'd hate to host a Big Slam with only 6 participants. This would feel like cheating the community; robbing them of how we really get down. So head over (or send your friends) to the ticket link and register ASAP.
