The presale allocation of Celebrity Concert tickets are now SOLD OUT but “Don’t panic Mr Mainwaring!”, the general sale open to all will have more available.

Other events remain available to presale customers with 10% discount.

General tickets sales will open on 1 January 2025 for all, including the remaining Celebrity Concert tickets and our LPF3-10 deal - buy tickets for three or more events (excl the Celebrity Concert) and get 10% discount.

🏰We are delighted to be part of the Ludlow Castle Christmas Tree trail this year. And even more pleased that our tree has managed to withstand recent storms and gales. Well done to our very own Lyn Jones and Charlotte Page (Mrs McGowan) who did such a wonderful job.

Our programme for 2025 is as full of variety as ever!

We begin with our legendary ‘Celebrity Concert’, then, 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗠𝗰𝗚𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗻 brings Erik Satie to life, we have concerts which turn the spotlight on American and Polish composers, a piano duet arrangement of 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘀𝘁'𝘀 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗲, ‘Music to Read To’ (where you are urged to bring your book to read while listening), ‘Desert Island Piano’ with 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗰𝗸, Debbie Wiseman plays her own music from ‘𝗪𝗼𝗹𝗳 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹’; we have more ‘𝗝𝗮𝘇𝘇 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻’, an evening of ‘Popular Classics’, solo recitals from two of this country’s most cherished pianists: 𝗝𝗼𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿r and 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗲 and more...!

🎹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲

As promised on this week's earlier update, here is the final schedule for the Open Piano sessions at St Laurence's Church this coming Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November. Over 20 extremely talented amateur and semi-professional pianists are playing an incredibly wide range of music in 20 minute slots. Why not come along to the church, grab a coffee and cake and sit back and enjoy some superb live piano playing in the splendour of 'the Cathedral of the Marches'? It is of course free to attend but if you do, please make a donation to the Church at one of the donation points.
