AA.4 - OrganicOrbit

OrganicOrbit is a young passionate Dj from cape town. Once moving from Durban to cape town he soon found himself intrigued at the unique Cape Town party scene where he discovered his love for deep techno. Fascinated by abstract sounds he Brings together smooth hypnotic patterns with deep breaks that allows for him to curate a textured style. His love for music and exploring different avenues has moulded his appreciation for different genres. Organic orbit has focused his sound to showcase deep techno, minimal techno and breakbeat.
Driven by a passion to explore and share music with others.

Luis is a Cuban Producer / DJ living in South Africa since 2001. His current explorations revolve around House & Techno, geared towards eliciting subjective journeys through prolonged exposure. He also runs a small label and Post Production studio called Welcome Park.

AA.1 - LoTech

LoTech, DJ for 23 years, Promoter for 18 years and music fanatic for as long as he can remember. Early musical influences were the psychedelic rock bands of his father's record collection by the likes of Uriah Heap, Deep Purple and The Doors. A love for nineties Hip Hop led him to DJing. The discovery of legendary 90's Progressive House Record labels like Renaissance Records, Hooj Choons, Global Underground as well as pioneer DJ's in the field like Sasha and Digweed, Anthony Pappa and Dave Seaman made an everlasting Imprint. By then the DJ bug had already bitten.
Fast forward 18 years to Durban South Africa where LoTech is a former Resident DJ of the ALTR Techno collective and brand. Previously resident at Kulture Nightclub. Regular appearances at Origin Nightclub as well as appearances on 5FM has led to National opportunities like playing at ToyToy, AND Nightclub, Truth Nightclub, Sunday Funk, Aruba Lounge, The Sunday Social, Sugar Sunday and Stones Centurion VIP in Johannesburg as well as Mødular. and Reset in Cape Town.
This success nationally has opened the door for LoTech to play alongside some amazing International talent like: Kidnap Kid, Wankelmut, WHYTE NOYZE, Third Son, Einmusik, Juliet Fox, Betoko, Hatzler, Djumma Soundsystem and Gabe.

Drawing from a variety of influences; be it, techno, IDM, electronic, Dub and Ambient Music, Lukas aims to make use of these influences and arrive at something entirely unique and ambiguous.

__KYLE RUSSOUW

Born and raised in Cape Town, Kyle Russouw has always been immersed in a rich cultural diversity that inspired his appreciation for a variety of musical genres that still influence his sound today. Never one to shy away from deeper, atmospheric hues and textures, his innovative style is bound to take the listener on a journey.
His own DJ journey to began at a young age. A curious kid he was always fooling around with bits of technology until one day he discovered a set
of turntables and his first gigs were intimate backyard parties organised by friends. Here he began to experiment with different sounds, audio gadgets and mixing formats using his modest collection of three records. A vinyl collector in the making he soon turned three into many, and turned music into a business, supplying and distributing vinyl to other DJ’s around the country.
However he has come a long way since then. Now a regular feature in South
Africa’s house and techno scene Kyle’s graced radio stations across the Western Cape, secured a residency at ERA in the Western Cape and been a regular guest at Johannesburg’s TOYTOY. His versatility and ability to relate to his audience make him the perfect choice for warming up a room or closing a festival stage, which he has done at some of South Africa’s biggest including: Synergy, Origin and The Cape Town Electronic Music Festival.
Kyle’s passion, his ability to hold the crowd, feel their energy and move them, figuratively and literally, make for inspired sets. He says that his favourite part of playing music is taking a crowd on a journey filled with emotion, adrenaline, craving and an eventual release of tension. We can’t think of a better man to do so.
