What a great day it will be ✨

Have you enjoyed the delicious culinary art of ? I finally got an opportunity to venture out for one of their famous Sunday brunch buffets! Let me tell you… it did not disappoint! Beautiful decor, displays, drinks, and most importantly, delicious food.

My name is Lauren & I am the woman behind Elouise Events! ✨
My social media presence has been a bit slow to start, so I’ll be taking some time over the next few months to share more about me, my business, and my LOVE of event planning!

Today, I want to share with you all my love of event planning, and how I got started! To no one who knows me’s surprise, this started early on in my childhood… when I was about 7 years old, I “coordinated” a surprise anniversary party for my parents and invited all the family & neighbors! But the gig was up when my neighbor brought my handmade invitation to my mom and asked if it was real!

From there it was doing showers and parties for friends and family, until I had the opportunity to do my internship with ! I got to help coordinate our Hampton Roads area Relay for Life events, and realized how much I truly love this passion of mine! After finishing up school at ODU (Go Monarchs!), I started working at Sentara and quickly joined the corporate event committee. As I’ve grown with Sentara from an entry level position into leadership, I’ve held on to my role in the events committee because it gives me the opportunity to do what I love, while also growing in a completely unrelated field!

I made my dive into the wedding arena in 2019, and the rest is history. There’s nothing I love more than helping make someone’s big day the best day ever. I love the hustle and bustle, and the preparation that goes into every second of it! One day I will have the opportunity to do this full time, but until then I look forward to the weddings & events that I can accommodate and pour my energy & love into!
