We woke up to some pretty incredible news today - we’ve been recognized as a Best of Zola 2025 wedding florist!! For someone who always swore she could never be a wedding florist, I feel beyond honored to be able to provide wedding flowers in a way that is personal, meaningful and affordable alongside an incredible team (shoutout to you, ❤️). We’re honored that has connected us with some amazing couples to share in their day and are so excited to keep the magic rolling in 2025 ✨🌹

This month, we’re thrilled to feature , a winery many who have visited us know well as the producers of our shop-favorite Cabernet Sauvignon! Fallbrook Winery was purchased by Pepper Wood and Ira Gourvitz and they replanted the land with Bordeaux varietals in the 1990s, focusing on grapes that would thrive in the unique climate of North County San Diego. To celebrate our 1st anniversary this month, we’ll be highlighting their BDX—a bold and beautifully balanced Bordeaux red blend.

Join us this Wednesday, January 8th from 5–7 PM at Cork & Stem for an exclusive tasting event with the winery! 🍇 Sip, savor, and learn more about what makes Fallbrook wines so special. No RSVP needed—just bring your love for wine and good company. See you there! 🥂

It’s the first Wednesday of the month and you know what that means - it’s time to share our new featured winery!!

This month we’ll be sharing the incredible Petit Verdot from our friends at . San Pasqual Winery is a small, family owned winery in La Mesa and was San Diego’s first urban winery, earning it a spot on list of “Hot 100 West Coast Trends”. Owners Mike & Linda purchased the winery in 2009 when it was a small, industrial space in PB and grew it to the 3-location powerhouse it is today. They focus on sustainable practices, partnering with local vineyards and supporting other local wineries through their participation on the boards of both the and the Wine Institute.

Today is National Cabernet Franc day and since Linda is known for her Cab Franc, we’re doing an extra special 5-pour tasting tonight to celebrate! Join us tonight from 5pm - 7pm - tastings are free for members and $15 for the public. See you tonight!!

It’s the first Wednesday of the month, so you know the drill - it’s the wine club pick up party! Join us and founder of , Jordan Kivelstadt, for a 4-pour tasting of their incredible wines. This month’s featured wine is a Carbonic Zinfandel, a certified organic, juicy red wine of 100% Zinfandel grapes and before you ask - it isn’t carbonated! As always, the tasting is open to all - free for club members and $15 for non-members. See you tonight!

It’s been a little while since I’ve shown my face around here, so I thought it was about time to pop in and say hi! For those of you I haven’t met, my name is Jenna and I started Cork & Stem 4 years ago, taking flowers into wineries for workshops and building bouquets out of my garage. Here are a few fun facts about me:

-Cork & Stem was inspired by watching my mom and her best friends DIY wedding flowers for their daughters as they got married
-My favorite flower is a dahlia
-I met my husband playing recreational soccer - he was the best one on the team and I was…the most social 😄
-I hated wine until one of my best friends took me to a winery in Ramona and I fell in love with the romance of wine making
-Starting this business has been the hardest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done ❤️

Over the next few months, we’ll introduce you to the rest of the team, who are pretty kick ass if I can brag. If you’re feeling brave, tell us how you found Cork & Stem in the comments - we’d love to hear about it!! ✨
