I said my sorors!!!
Merry Christmas Eve everyone! â¤ď¸
Disney was amazing, but what I loved more was hearing it from Clarkson. My now five-year-old has his own opinions and thoughts, and it's still mind-blowing for me as his mom. So, here's Disney from his point of view.
Top 3 rides:
1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
2. Space Mountain
3. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
Boring rides (his words)
Peter Pan and It's a Small world ( why did they keep singing the same song) LOL. It wasn't worth the long wait. It's Christmas time, so wait times were 90 minutes long. Genie Plus (Lighting Lanes) saved us a lot of time. It's worth the extra cost. Also, download the Disney app on your phone.
Similar rides (we could have done one or The other).
Magic Carpet of Aladdin
Dumbo the Flying Elephant
Lastly, who was that guy meaning, âwho are Tigger, Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet?
As a mom, I was thinking, is this a mom failure? Then I said Nah, âthat's on Disney.â I haven't seen a Winnie the Pooh show in years, LOL! But the food at The Crystal Palace was good! Just ensure your child knows the characters and doesn't ask who they are the entire time, haha!
Top Activities:
The Parade seeing the Fire coming out of the Dragon was incredible.
Mickey Magical Friendship Faire was cool!
We had a ball at Disney, and I'm thankful we spent some of the holidays in the most Magical place on earth.
The most magical place on earth!

Happy Holidays from the Moore Family. Weâre beyond grateful this year for family, love, friendship, and connection.
About last night! It was so fun and rewarding to have my kids see my colleagues and me on the big screen. My job was awarded a SuperGrant of $50,000 to continue to support our efforts in coaching, community, and care for Nashville graduates seeking a college degree.
Go Preds!
Utah vacation. Iâm Thankful for this time away. My new favorite vacation spot is covered in snow. Utah is beautiful we will be back. I promised myself to have more balance and Iâm doing just that.

2022 Friendsgiving: Iâm so thankful for these incredible people. Friends that have become family.
NPR published an article on how to navigate Matrescence, and this coined term from the 70s made me reflect on my motherhood journey. Matrescence is the feeling of losing your identity. This loss is felt in various positions in your life, workplace, friend groups, and marriageâthe moment you bring a baby home, your life changes. I was a happy pregnant woman, and my life changed instantly once the baby was out.
Itâs important to understand that each pregnancy journey will be different. Also, weâre all uniquely designed and will experience postpartum in various ways.

Halloween Safety Tips:
Weâre days away from trick-or-treating. The kids are super excited to get candy and wear their costumes again. I have provided some safety tips to keep Halloween safe and fun. These safety tips for parents, children, and homeowners will help keep everyone happy this Halloween.
Parents:
1. Wear reflective gear at night or carry flashlights.
2. Costumes should fit properly to prevent trips and falls. Avoid oversized shoes, high heels, long dresses, and long capes.
3. Try not to wear masks. It's hard for kids to see what's around them, making them unrecognizable.

Are you ready for Spooky Season?
It's Fall in Tennessee, and I have the rundown for the kiddos!
1. Check out Shady Lanes. I posted a reel today. The kids enjoyed it, and it wasnât too scary or too âShady.â This family-friendly corn maze is family owned with food trucks and pumpkins to take home.
2. Boo at the Zoo is happening now until October 30th. Advanced tickets are required.
3. October 22nd, 10:00 am-2:00 pm, is Fall Kids Fest at the Avenue in Murfreesboro.
4. P.S. my son came home from school excited about the Alabama Vs. Tennessee game. Itâs been the talk of the town all week. I say it lived up to the hype. My college football team is WKU and Mississippi State. Go Tops and HailState.
Who is your college team?

Itâs Fall break time, and many people have hit the road or trying to find activities for the kids to enjoy. This year we decided to stay in town and explore Murfreesboro. Murfreesboro is 30 minutes south of Nashville and is now considered greater Nashville. The area is growing fast, and there are tons of fall festivals and city happenings to enjoy.
A few activities we enjoyed were the following:
Lucky Ladd Farms is a fan favorite, and tickets must be purchased ahead of time. You can find yourself at Lucky Ladds for 3-4 hours. Lucky Ladds has several games and interactive rides for families to enjoy. There are lunch options, but the lines can get long, so I recommend taking a snack for the kids. The apple cider donuts are a win! Get you some fast!

Shea Fam, I've had a sore throat for about a week or so. My kids had one too. It's that time of year when kids are getting sick, and parents are scrambling to doctor visits. We're happy to partner with and bring you an organic option to soothe your sore throat.

Do not let anxiety win today. You are loved and cared for.
Hey Shea Family! I haven't introduced myself in a while. I'm Gretchen Moore, mom of two beautiful boys. I live with anxiety, but I've learned coping skills. I share on my page highs and lows. I love a good laugh, and one day I plan to fight my fear and do stand-up comedy.
Fun fact about me I cheered In high school, and my close friends would laugh at my lack of driving skills. Granny Gretch was my nickname.
Being a mom is my greatest reward, and I'm a lifelong learner.
My husband and I created the blog, which has grown in many ways.
I'm a SAHM-turned-working mom. I know my calling and being at home all day wasn't it. I missed adult conversations and community.
If you made it this far, tell me a little about you.
Happy Fall! đđ
Splash Dash was a hit! Way to go, Clarkson! What an excellent way to fundraise for the school!
I joined the PTO as a member, and I have enjoyed the amount of involvement the school allows. Parents, itâs great to be involved and establish relationships with your childâs teacher. It builds rapport and trust. I wouldnât want the first time to meet a teacher to be when things go wrong. Stay connected as much as you can.
