Each cheese that goes in a Grazing is special. And to harmonize even better with the wine you are going to drink, we separated the types that go best with each of them🧀🍷
•Merlot + Gouda: Gouda is a more buttery and sweeter cheese, which combines with Merlot wine because it is lighter than other red wines and more full-bodied than white wines.
•Chianti + Parmesan: Chianti is an Italian dry red wine that goes very well with Parmesan, which is a well-textured cheese. This combination is the face of Italy!
•Chardonnay + Brie: Brie is a softened cheese that combines with wines with good acidity and a lighter flavor, the perfect pair is Chardonnay, a more full-bodied white wine. Camembert cheese has the same characteristics as Brie, both are perfect with this wine!
•Pinot Grigio + Ricotta: Pinot Grigio is a lighter Italian white wine and pairs perfectly with soft white cheeses.
• Malbec + Grana Padano: This is a more than perfect combination, Grana Padano is a cheese with a lot of texture and very similar to Parmesan, it combines with Malbec because it is a more full-bodied wine.
•Port Wine + Gorgonzola: The Gorgonzola we find in the market is more salty, full-bodied and tasty, so the perfect pair could only be an equally strong wine, Port wine.
•Pinot Noir + Provolone: Provolone, being a smoked cheese, calls for a wine pairing with more acidity like Pinot Noir. The acidity breaks down the fat in the cheese and cleanses your taste buds so you can keep eating.
• Malbec + Gruyère: Gruyère is very famous for it’s cheese fondues, it’s a little salty and slightly spicy, it’s ideal wine is drier and tastier, like Malbec.
