Giving Anna’s blooms a new life in our gorgeous float glass frame!

This bouquet was so dreamy and whimsical. Sometimes bouquets require a little extra love and attention. The anemones in this bouquet required more time to carefully dust away the black pollen from white petals but it’s worth the effort before pressing to keep them vibrant!

Hi friends, come spend a Monday morning with me!

If your like me and love a good DITL then I hope you enjoy this little behind the scenes.

A typical work day for me usually starts with trying to get myself and three boys ready for the day! That can be an ordeal in itself. This time of year is always hard for me - I love to wake up before the kids to have time to myself but I find myself sleeping in more in the cold months.

I always make my bed because it makes me feel good to have a tidy space! Clutter and messes make it hard for me to think straight and feel less productive.

I will usually gather up the essentials and then head to the basement -aka the studio to start working! I will usually be working while listening to country or something fun. Occasionally I will watch a show while I reconstruct flowers.

After a few hours of working I head up for lunch! I try to meal prep 1 thing for lunch for the week. Otherwise I’ll be grabbing whatever and we know that’s not going to be healthy 🤣

I sit and enjoy the complete silence because all the kids are at school or Mimi’s. It’s heaven.

Back to work, film content, send emails, edit content and try to get a few things done around the house before it’s time to go get the little people!

Hi, I’m Lauren ✨👋🏻—the heart and designer behind Heirloom Blooms!

If you’ve been following me for a while, thank you! If you’re new to my page, welcome, seriously so happy to have you here!

Life’s been a beautiful mix of chaos and creativity as a stay-at-home mom to three wild and (wonderful) boys, and now a full-time preserver of love stories.

My passion lies in taking something fleeting, like wedding florals, and transforming it into something timeless and meaningful.

As a military kid, I grew up moving from place to place, soaking up different cultures and experiences before finally planting roots here in Maryland. That wandering heart has never left me—I still love traveling, hiking, and discovering new adventures (and dragging my boys along with me!)

When I’m not pressing petals, you’ll find me diving into DIY projects, dreaming up home decor ideas, or just chasing the next creative spark.

Random facts about me:
I love my toast extra crispy, but not burnt! I always knew I would have boys, McDonald’s coke is superior, I collect holiday Christmas villages, I share a birthday with my sister exactly 4 years apart (Dec 27) Capricorn girlies, I don’t know how to sit still and I am always looking for a project!

It’s that time of year where we are all looking for the “perfect unique gift” for our loved ones.

Maybe it’s just me, but I always struggle every year to find something meaningful and thoughtful. I personally love giving a gift that people aren’t expecting!

I’ve been working on so many add-on mini frames with my latest orders. Not to mention, a few special requests, like the monogram frame!

Want to know a secret?… Sometimes I really struggle with designs. I’ve never shared this video because I just wasn’t happy with the design and you can see I was struggling. There are times when I have to walk away and come back to it later. That’s okay, because I come back feeling refreshed and inspired and it all works out in the end.
